It's not fair. I was thinking "Oh good - less than two hours to go" and had a wee peek under the Christmas Tree. Disaster speechless-smiley-040.gifspeechless-smiley-040.gif no Secret Santa present.

My husband is away to work night shift and hasn't left it out. I just had to phone him to let him know he had forgotten to leave it and he told me he hadn't forgotten. He knows what I am like - he doesn't trust me. He was convinced I would open it as soon as he walked out the door so he will phone me in the morning just after my alarm goes off and tell me where it is!!

Wah!!! I need to wait another six and a half hours.

  • Good Christmas Eve Morning Peeps :santa2:

Anic I was so upset (hehexq9.gif) for you when I read about your Secret Santa present(laught16op2.gif) I really was(laught16op2.gif)...The gammon was very tasty, cooked to perfection even though I do say so myself :D but it was very kind of you to offer to sample it for me  silly me  I never thought that it could be bad in any way  I shall think of you when I cook the second one :rotfl: ...

...Brighton belle I hope that your jaw is somewhat less painful today. We all like to think that we could 'have something' that would stop us from eating, but an arthritic jaw is not 'the something':o . Perhaps your Secret Satan ;) present will cheer you up...

...I have lots to do today. MrP has gone to work early so that's why I'm here all bright eyed and bushy tailed at this time of the morning :j. We have my mother stopping with us until the New Year, so far she'd been okay, I can only hope that it lasts. So I'm off now to make a trifle, I haven't made one for years, but this year they've asked for one; then a quick trip to the local shops. After that I shall open my Secret Santa :j :j ...

    ...Festive pic to come later...

    xxxx
I wish that I could be the oldest AND wisest....sadly it's not the latter :p but my time will come _party_ wooooh hoooh! Beware!!!!!!!

    Good morning all.

Christmas Eve at last. As promised OH phoned me - he had put my SS present under my teenage son's pillow as he knows I don't touch their rooms - let them live in their own mess!!!! I just hope it's not chocolate - it might have melted.

Anyway - back to the present. Oh I'm so excited!!

Aw it looks lovely - it's all wrapped up like pink Christmas cracker - it looks to nice to open.

The card says it's from Secret Santa - oops - was I not meant to put my name on the present? I did - sorry - just ignore it if you see it.

Oh there is wee label on the envelope - so thanks Marion from Romford - Is that you Retiredlady?

Back to the pressie. Why did you have to wrap it so nicely - I feel guilding opening it now.

Right - I've opened it as neatly as I can at one end.

Oh - wow - I am impressed - a cover/sock for my ipod with two miniature bottles of Burberry perfumes in it and a candy cane. action-smiley-033.gif

Thank you so much Marion - I am really pleased with my secret santa (and thanks to BB for organising it all).

Hope eveyone else is too. I better go now as I am going to be late for work now. I'll log in later and see what everyone else gets.

    Merry Christmas everyone.

Anic - your DH obviously knows you well!:rotfl: What a lovely pressie though! (And much better for the wait....next year you will have to tell him to hide it till boxing day and give you something to look forward to for even longer!)

I have just opened my one and it is a beautiful set of scented mini candles (3 of which are out and ready to light in the evening), together with a paint your own terrimundi type bankie.:D  Many many thanks, Justmarried06, :j - DD will no doubt lend a hand at painting it and I may make it the one to sit on my desk at work so that I put any £ destined for the sweetie vending machine into it instead:A

Can't do all the fancy pictures so I am afraid I have to resort to the standard smilies but:xmastree: :xmassign: :snow_grin :snow_laug :santa2: :xmassmile :rudolf: to one and all!!!!
    Love Katyk

PS Just weighed myself and all the stress at work and at home with xmas seems to have taken it's toll on my appetite. Somewhere in the last 2 weeks or so I have lost 5LB! :D
Not sure it is worth how stressed I have been feeling but still a very nice cushion to go into festive period with!
Mind you, that still only leaves me about 8lb down on where I was 3 months ago...:o
  • MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE - Hope your Secret Santa's were good to you all. I'm looking forward to seeing what you all get.

Unfortunatley DS as well as OH are now unwell, so this is going to be another Christmas spent at the emergency doctor's I think. If I'm not on. Have a wonderful time and I'll "see" you all after the big day3649944_bodyshot_300x400_1198512653501.gif

Well done katyk. I don't think I could ever lose 5lbs without realising!

Hope you all have a great Christmas and don't find all the temptation too difficult.
