Hi all
Hope you are all keeping well and are all ready for the big day when it comes.
I haven't been able to keep up with the thread properly for ages now - just popping in and out when I can grab a few minutes to myself.
Hopefully I will be able to follow it a bit more now - I think I have everything organised now - christmas dinner stuff was all bought this morning. Christmas presents are almost all wrapped and hidden away or being delivered/picked up tomorrow afternoon and I hope I have everything sorted now.
I did the body science thing and I was worth 4,825 - same as you grannynise.
Delly - sorry your night out didn't work out quite as well as you had hoped but I hope you enjoyed yourself anyway.
I hope everyone who hasn't been feeling well are now on the mend and hugs if you're not yet.
Enjoy your show Suggs - I'm quite envious actually - I love going to Musicals and the theatres here are filled with pantomimes at the moment so not quite the same as a musical. Having said that, I have booked up for three of the pantos anyway.
I can relate to the boxes of chocolates etc but unfortunately I don't have the willpower and managed to eat a whole box of Terrys All Gold in two days!!! Naughty me. Well at least they are out the road now and won't be tempting me when all the other goodies are shouting "eat me" at the same time.
Re Secret Santa - (my hubby has wisely hidden mine away so I can't "investigate" to see if I can guess what it is) - do we have a certain time to open them or is it any time on Christmas Eve. If so - does that mean I can stay up late on Sunday night and open it at 1 minute past midnight??? You'd never guess I am quite excited can you!!!!
I love Christmas and love getting surprise presents - so am dead excited. I don't get surprises very often you see as I usually have to tell my lot what to buy me, where to get it and how much it costs. They have no imagination and don't even think to stick in a wee surprise for me so I know exactly what is inside the wrapping paper when I get up on Christmas morning.
I can't wait to see what my SS present is.
Anyway - off to deliver my mum's presents just now so will speak to you all later.
Bye for now0 -
$6025 for my body to medical science, haha. I feel quite pure.
I've just spent far too long (should be cooking tea) seeing what I need to improve to be worth more.
Looks like I need to work out more (not that I do anything at the moment) to become athletic, grow my hair past my shoulders, stop taking the odd headache pill, and become a vegetarian. I already don't drink or smoke or had any of the other exposures/operations, but I just can't get past $5700 ish.
Not sure how to grow any taller, get any younger or get perfect eyesight.

Hi all
Just a quickie as my internet has been playing up and I simply have to watch the Strictly final!
To anyone out there struggling, I am right there by your side!! To be honest, having read about KPC starting over on the new year, I'm wondering whether to do the same...I'm really shattered (one game of scrabble does me in for days
) and fed up and feeling immense pressure from it all. I just wish it would all go away. We went to my mum's overnight on Thursday and when we arrived they'd opened a tin of Roses - I ended up shovelling them in like there was no tomorrow (just like the rest of my family I might add - no prizes for guessing where lots of my eating habits come from). I know already what a nightmare Christmas is going to be, people talking about how they shouldn't have things and then stuffing their faces; I really hate it. I don't feel like I have the strength to deal with it. I thought I had a plan and now I realise that I can't control myself when my mother is around. Sorry guys, I'm off, in no state to be on here. Will come back when I've sorted myself out x

Delly, sorry to hear your night out wasnt the dance party you hoped for, the barcardi trick, like vodka, is still around I guess, but how comes you ended in a bar that didnt match the bustier, or was it decided on the night?? Hopefully this picture might raise your spirits?
Unfortunately we didn't plan where we were going. One of us made the suggestion and when we went there no one had the guts to speak up and say we wanted to go somewhere else. It's just made me realise that I need to get out more often.
I have to say suggs I'm really looking forward to seeing the last in the series of pics of Santa...Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Aww bails- do you not remember that the self flagellation stick is locked up in the shed until after Christmas? Just relax and enjoy yourself. I think we all have a contingency plan in the back of our heads that we can start over in the new year.
Hope you're feeling better soon. Off to watch strictly now.Goal for 09: Get fit and foxy. target weight 11st. 5/80.Get out of dead end job and work for career I always wanted.0 -
Thanks Delly - the trouble is, KPC entrusted the key to me! I've had a chat with OH which helped - he told me that he finds it very difficult to be around my mum and food (and he has no food/weight problems whatsoever) which made me feel a lot better. What's a girl gonna do after a lifetime of it? I'll take your advice Delly and relax about it - I inevitably eat more the more wound up I am about it - and then can focus from 31st Dec when I'm back from Brighton. I'm so glad this thread is here xxThe 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000

Tough times around food bails (and for others posting their struggles:grouphug:)
Hang on to what your OH has said - this shows it isn't YOU , it is a tough situation and 30+ years of family dynamics ain't goning to change over night. But your self awareness around this is blossoming all the time and this means this week will NOT result in falling off the wagon forever. Yes you probably will put on afew lbs this week, but quickly on always means quickly off. And come Jan 1st we'll all be here to re-energise each other to focus on looking after ourselves.
Hope you manage to get some walks in - not becasue you 'need ' the excercise but or the joy it brings you.
Oh, and your PM box is full.
Loads of you to respond to, and will do this tomorrow as I ought to be in bed now:o .
Hope you are all tucked up in bed dreaming the dreams of the pure and innocent:D
