Enjoy! I love Anglesey
I went on a RIB trip on the Menai Strait a few years ago, and it was really good fun - something different, and lots of good scenery and interesting things to see - I'm sure you'll enjoy your trip. Hope you are lucky and spot some puffins on the other trip! (There is also a good chance of seeing puffins at South Stack reserve/lighthouse on Holy Island, but it's basically the opposite side of Anglesey to where you are so wouldn't be super convenient, although it is a stunning spot to visit!)

Love the holiday pictures!! I logged on to my laptop so I could see them properly they were tiny on my phone 😆. Glad you had a good holiday don't let the post holiday spend guilt takeover though.
Perhaps make the next month a challenge to pay back what you've overspent on the holiday.
Hope you've got the nice sunshine we've got here. We're making the most of it in case it doesn't last long!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. You might just be tired from over peopling if you know what I mean. I've put on half a stone since I left my job 😬 which was really not that long ago. I am also feeling heavier and more lethargic...I think we all have an optimal weight and I'm about a stone over mine (and that certainly doesn't take me to any skimpy sizes lol).
So anyway in a bid to help this I've gone back to eating all my calories during certain hours and not late in the evening. I think this should help. Maybe you could try the same I think it helps to have digested most food by bedtime. And if you can get through about three days of a grumbling tummy it generally stops I find.
How about just making some healthier food swaps. I.e we also had pizza for dinner then other day and I swapped my chips for homemade sweet potato wedges airfryed with just a teensy bit of olive oil and sea salt. They were very good ..I also made our pizza from ready cooked naan bread some herbs and tomato paste and grated cheese with veg on top (sweetcorn, pepper, onions and olives and pineapple) everyone cleared their plates without a moan even the kids 🤣.
Might be a good idea to join the weight loss groups though I find other people trying to achieve similar goals such a help to my motivation.MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. The naan we use is just shop bought packs of two for less than a quid. Cheap tomato paste too. Then whatever you like on top and grill till warmed through .
You're doing amazing on the P surveys. I've had zilch this week! I'm pretty shocked as I had so many to begin with.
Great news on the WFH permanently!
Well done on the good days with the diet. Would it help to have a cheat day each week so you have something to look forward to. Or perhaps try half half. Half the week good. Half not so good. That way it isn't too long to wait for snacks ...when I went vegan I struggled with losing choc from my diet (it made me ill but I still ate it) so I had a quick Google search on healthy snack options and found some I fancied trying (some simple like guacamole and veg sticks some I had to make so not so simple) and made sure I had plenty of that in. One of my fave snacks at the mo for filling me up is chia seeds mixed into yoghurt and left for twenty minutes to soak ...I find it really filling and then don't want rubbish after (well sometimes I still do lol)
Hope you have a good weekend ☺️MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. I loved Rome when I went last year. If you can have that as a goal to work towards it could help with not spending on snacking or things you don’t really need which will help with both the weight loss and saving. I always read your diary but don’t often comment but I am cheering you on to reach any goal you set yourself. Good luck and I hope you get back to Rome xxslowly working towards being MF one small over payment at a time :T1

Just an idea, have you thought about hypnosis? I know my friend did one in her sleep for smoking and when that worked (she also was motivated to quit because of other reasons) she tried it with drinking and it helped!? Perhaps it could be worth a shot....
We have spent more because of the sun too, we have been out and about far more than usual and also with house hunting we have been driving around a lot often over meal times and had to buy things on the road (we are opting for the cheapest options we can find though).MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Great results on the surveys! Mine have slowed to nil. No idea why but glad someone is getting them still 😃

Wow congrats on reaching 1k!! Isn't it amazing when you reach your goals!
Have you tried snacking on nuts, seeds or something else that is yes high in calories but perhaps the slightly healthier option and will fill you up? I'm in the middle of trying to lose weight again and I'm a nightmare for snacking so I eat a small handful of nuts/ chia seeds in yoghurt / or fruit (banana is good) or if I'm craving carbs I will have a slice of toast with peanut butter on ... anything to stop me reaching for my vices (chocolate and crisps and other sweets!) ...
Well done on getting through your jobs list too. I've spent most of the day starting something then getting distracted! Made dinner at least so that's something...but not done much else 😆MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06.
