Octopus Energy takes on Avro customers

Well, I accept that once you get used to it there is no confusion but surely it isn't too much to ask that a statement makes it clear which dates you have actually been charged for in that statement.MWT said:It is just a matter of presentation, but arguably the way Octopus shows it is correct as the closing reading is as at a specific point in time and that point doesn't change between one period and the next.Either way, once you understand the way your supplier does it, it should not be confusing.

I have absolutely no problem with my Octopus Energy Statements.
The top of the bill clearly shows the Billing period, e.g. 1st Jan 2022 to 31st Jan 2022. This is correct.
The "details" section clearly shows the dates readings submitted, e.g. 1st Jan and 1st Feb. Again this is correct.

Thanks for that, been with Octopus for 6 months now and never had a bill/Statement because I am part of the remaining 8% as at 15th Jan who have more so called complex problems.Grizzlebeard said:I have absolutely no problem with my Octopus Energy Statements.

I can try to remember that for when I do eventually get a Statement sometime this decade!

I did that too. My account balance has been updated (no actual bill though) and the credit from Avro has been transferred but the page still says "It's been a bit quiet in here" etc.MikeBzz said:
I did exactly that and they produced my first bill from it (I believe others whose switch to Avro didn't complete have done the same thing).Merlin139 said:
Providing a copy of your final bill from the previous supplier prior to AVRO will do nothing.youravinalarrrf said:Assuming Avro's administrators are no longer involved and if you have already been in contact with Octopus there would be no harm in pre-empting the situation to speed things up by letting Octopus have a copy of your final bill from your supplier prior to Avro.0 -
OK. I take it all back thenGrizzlebeard said:I have absolutely no problem with my Octopus Energy Statements.

Don't worry. Tomorrow you'll explain something and I'll be taking stuff back. It's happened before.Consumerist said:

I'm waiting for my account set up in the organic way, both meters have been transferred, but no bills, no payments, no opening readings and no Avro balance transfer as yet.westv said:I did that too. Final bill and Avro account balance screenshots are ready and waiting as and when...0 -
Strange world. The latest wholesale unit rate for gas is 7.78p/kWh - only half a penny above Octopus' post-April 2nd capped rate. For electricity, too. 22.18p wholesale, 29p Octopus.I know VAT affects the comparison - but not that much.

My final bill with Avro is finally visible on my account. My bill with the previous supplier was submitted on the 11th of March.beeniecarol said:
we are in the same position. I sent my meter readings and final igloo bill to Avro's administrators (via Octopus link) on 6th March. I emailed them on the 14th asking how long it will take to issue my final Avro bill; still waiting for a reply......M4rkOne97One said:
I was mid switch from igloo to Avro when Avro went bust. I've had my final bill from igloo (refunded credit paid by EON Next). Already sent a copy of this final bill and screen grabs of my account on the Avro website as proof of the DD payment to Avro. Octopus said that I would have to wait for their systems to update and my account to fully move across. Might email them the information again over the weekend and see if it moves things along.MikeBzz said:
