    Who have you comparied them to? When I checked a while ago there were a lot more companies offering much higher prices. If you can find a better deal that's great. 

    I had an email from Octopus earlier too and this is an extract from it...so I wouldn't jump just yet.

    What exactly is your problem with Octopus? Did you have an unfortunate experience with one as a child or something?

    And given that a burnt child is supposed to fear the fire, I do not think that opting for the lowest possible price is the wisest thing to do at the point when many of the cheapest ones around have already gone bust due to the soaring wholesale prices.

    Erm - its called expensive tariffs. Might have the best customer service but very expensive.

    TBF - i never heard of NEON until i saw their quote. For me all that matters is the cheapest price, everything else irrelevant (unless they have the worse ever customer service). You guys maybe rich and can afford high prices - i certainly cant

    Then when they go bust - u switch again to someone else

    While I understand that credit will be protected, I receive benefits and I've not seen anything said regarding Warm Home Scheme. Will we loose that or will new providers honour that because we have to be with a company by a before a certain time in order to qualify for it. 

    It's a worrying time isn't it? God knows how much our new bills will be. I thought I was at least safe until May next year.

    I got everything off the site at around 04:00 on the 23rd most people will have being in bed or not read or heard that Avro had gone bust, I guess I was lucky. Since around 04:30 on the 23rd I have only got the credit balance up once but nothing else. 

    @wild666  I managed go get information on my account on the 24th. Took screen shots of my balance and payments. Did you manage to get up all the info you needed?

    Anyone else notice that you can't print your statements on the Avro site? Paperless billing is all well and good but some people claim some amount of their electric through their employer for working from home. Surely Avro have to keep the billing up and running? Avro: {
