Santander £130 switch offer

Just used the switch number opt 1 to move a Virgin account into my 123 Light.
Fast process, ten mins sorted.I choose the rooms that I live in with care,
The windows are small and the walls almost bare,
There's only one bed and there's only one prayer;
I listen all night for your step on the stair.0 -
When I phoned to initiaite switch to existing account, agent mentioned a few T+C, requirement to pay in xxx amount and DD requirement, did not mention about if previously had received switching offer would not qualifyFollowing day 1530 hrs T+C was emailed, my belief was by that time was too late to completely stop the switch, was wondering if I should start ball rolling with a complaint that I would not have initiated switch if agent had mentioned the most key term that does apply to me as existing account holder or wait maybe 60 days + and see if £130 gets paid out, like other switch offers have with similar condition, if I know for sure that I will not get £130 would switch Santander account to RBS.£130 cashback switcher offer termsThank you for requesting to switch your current account to Santander.As mentioned during your phone call, you could be eligible for £130 cashback for switching your account. We’ve attached the full terms and conditions for the switcher offer so that you have them to hand.

Opened my account over a week ago, switch has now completed, and Direct Debits are in place.I transferred £1000 into my account when I opened it. The terms and conditions state that I need to have "funded your Qualifying Account with at least £1,000", which I have done. The question is - what exactly is meant by "funded"? Can I withdraw the £1000 now that the account has been funded, or do I need to leave the money in the account until I get the bonus?Anyone here queried this with Santander?

Probably not, we know what funded means. Do the terms say it needs to stay?JuliusCaesar said:Opened my account over a week ago, switch has now completed, and Direct Debits are in place.I transferred £1000 into my account when I opened it. I opened the account on Tuesday so it took 6 calendar days.GTR_King said:I have received my One time Password
Debit Card/Pin
One time Security Number to come.
Don't think banks meant to send all the stuff at once for security
How long did it take for all that stuff to arrive?0 -
No need to query with Santander. Whose money is it? Yours. Spend it as you like it’s a current account not a savings account so they could never stipulate the money stays in the account just that it shows as being credited, then as I did move the money back out. Left about £50 in to use account to show goodwill!JuliusCaesar said:Opened my account over a week ago, switch has now completed, and Direct Debits are in place.I transferred £1000 into my account when I opened it. £1000 from my 123 a/c would be OK - yes?0

There's nothing in the terms to say where the money has to come from, so I don't see why another Santander account can't be the funding source.castle96 said:£1000 from my 123 a/c would be OK - yes?0
