Works fine for me.0

I'm an enthusiastic Chase customer (I was, even before the 1.5% savings rate) BUT people should be warned that the 1% cashback they offer does not apply to all spending. In particular, some large expenditure items like insurance DON'T qualify for the cashback. I've lost out as a result of this, as I could have got 0.5% cashback using my regular credit card.0

It is stated on the list of exclusions quite clearly.TheLitterMan said:I'm an enthusiastic Chase customer (I was, even before the 1.5% savings rate) BUT people should be warned that the 1% cashback they offer does not apply to all spending. In particular, some large expenditure items like insurance DON'T qualify for the cashback. If you don't see any cashback pending in the Chase app after making the transaction, you have plenty of time (30 days) to switch the underlying card in Curve to a different card. It only applies to transactions up to £5000.Richchad said:TheLitterMan said:I'm an enthusiastic Chase customer (I was, even before the 1.5% savings rate) BUT people should be warned that the 1% cashback they offer does not apply to all spending. In particular, some large expenditure items like insurance DON'T qualify for the cashback. Will do, it will be next week at the earliest now as I went today and still haven't received my card yet. I noticed today the machine asks for a PIN to authorise up to £100 at Sainsbury's then when you start fueling it says max £99. As I understand it, since the new system came in, it should authorise £100 or up to the maximum available balance, whichever is smaller. We shall see.mab3000 said:Please update with wether your chase card works at the sainsburys pay at pump. Would be good to know if it works for someone else!

Just paid with Curve card and it is showing pending cashback in my Chase app, so does that mean it has been accepted to pay cashback or can it be refused later, surprised it is paying cashback as it is a car dealer.

I used mine at an Asda pay at pump last week and it worked fine.miller said:Has anyone had any experience using pay at pump with the numberless physical card? I usually use a credit card. However a couple of times I have tried to use it at a sainsburys pay at pump and it just doesn’t like it for some reason. Both times the account had over £99 in it.Thanks for that, it was actually Sainsbury's where I was intending to use it. My credit card authorises for £99 there.I haven't got my physical card yet, but I probably wont have £99 in there when I try it, so it will be interesting to see what happens. If it fails I'll just use my credit card as I CBA to go into the kiosk. The nearer I can get fueling the car to an F1 style pit stop the better!0 -
Cashback is based on the MCC (merchant category code). Wait until the transaction clears, then go back in time if necessary.Richchad said:Sensory said:If you don't see any cashback pending in the Chase app after making the transaction, you have plenty of time (30 days) to switch the underlying card in Curve to a different card. The TV License Fee is not a tax.
