Anyone else only had the 'holding e-mail' - contains a guy (with baby) at a supermarket checkout?

Got my card on Saturday and tried it out over the weekend. Not a couple of days of big spending, but 6p of cashback is pending
I do like that cashback is rounded up rather than just on the number of full pounds.
I think I'll use it more when Google Pay's been added for contactless.
Interestingly I have a 10p authorisation charge on the card from TfL but it's not been replaced by the full fare of what I spent yet. I find other banks mostly have this by the morning of the next working day at the latest.

@MSE_Helen_S see above, if you front the Chase card with the free Curve card, you can use it with GooglePay right away. No need to wait for Chase to enable it.MSE_Helen_S said:

My Curve card sometimes takes a few days at pay at the pump petrol stations.MSE_Helen_S said:Got my card on Saturday and tried it out over the weekend. Not a couple of days of big spending, but 6p of cashback is pending

Chase Sapphire Reserve with every account would be niceDeleted_User said:
They will have to if they want to be a serious player. It really restricts the account for me unless there is an overdraft. A CC would be nice as well. I guess from the way the bank is talking these will come next year. Until then I can't use it as a main account, but will do the odd payment every now and then.block10 said:JGUK said:For anyone who wants to know, was informed by their customer service reps that Chase UK are not currently sending data to the credit reference agencies and would not send any data about my account if I closed it, so I did.If they decide to offer direct debits and international payments along with maybe a good reward credit card offering I’d consider rejoining, there’s just not point in having another current account which doesn’t do that much beyond the decent cash back offering.I wonder if Chase have any plans to start offering overdrafts? They would then start reporting to credit agencies. Dont think this could become my main account without a OD facility.

America. The country where more banks go bust.....[Deleted User] said:
Well I think people are far more likely to trust a big American bank than a small outfit.adamp87 said:After the hype their app is going to have to spank Starling and Monzo to succeed.
Offering credit products is going to set them apart from the two above admittedly
Big name or small name. It's still a risk
If the above link piece is true. 600 staff will not cope with thousands of accounts. Even on a digital basis.Life in the slow lane0 -

Check your TransUnion record, via Credit Karma, and you may see an entry under your Soft searches.I have opened an account with them but I’m not seeing evidence of any type of search being done with the CRAs
Nothing to worry about. Only you see them.
