If you are using Curve to front your cards, you can move any purchases that don’t get the 1% from Chase to your 0.5% credit card (assuming you have one).gt94sss2 said:Just be aware of the long list of exclusions to the Chase cashback offer.
I used the GBIT facility to move qualifying transactions from my credit card to Chase, thus earning 1% on those transactions.
Pennies, I know, but it all adds up.0 -
I have a NatWest credit card and I get 1.0% for supermarket spend and 0.25% for all other spend. There are though, occasional offers such as 10% in Costa during part of September.ronbell101 said:I use my Nat West reward credit card for all my spending @ 0.5% per transaction...so the chase 1% is a good earner for me...I was thinking of trying to change any DD on my current account (once switched to chase) to monthly card payments using the Chase Debit card as the payment method.... trying to "maximize" my 1% cashback...but not sure if its doable
any advice guys ?
I was not aware of an alternative NatWest credit card offering 0.50% on all transactions.0 -

I'm earning much more cashback elsewhere on a Visa debit card than the 1% but still went for this in the hope of additional benefits and services coming up in the not too distant future.0

I'm wondering whether the Chase card can be used with Google Pay - Apply pay is specifically mentioned but not Google Pay. I've emailed them to ask0

Works with Google pay via chrome but not on Android, so no contactless payment. You can get round this by using Curve card which can be added to Android Google pay.1

Indeed but I am not sure what there is "weigh up". Nothing to lose unless you have a current account offering better. Even then the account is free so might as well just open it and keep it for later.Zanderman said:
