Do we know if Chase will be reporting the account to any credit reference agencies? Not sure I want another account on there…
So should I close/delete it or just leave it open and wait and see if anything useful comes out of it?4 -

For anyone who wants to know, was informed by their customer service reps that Chase UK are not currently sending data to the credit reference agencies and would not send any data about my account if I closed it, so I did.If they decide to offer direct debits and international payments along with maybe a good reward credit card offering I’d consider rejoining, there’s just not point in having another current account which doesn’t do that much beyond the decent cash back offering. Thanks

Got the code eventually opened
Agree with most comments, currently have an Amex whereby I’m swapping Avios for Nectar so the 1% cashback isn’t that appealing still but may come in handy over the next 12 months.
I like the app but seems the same as most others. People seem very protective over banking apps where I find most the same. Love Starlings UI but sometimes use the pots but otherwise for me it’s the same as Lloyds/HSBC but nicer.
The struggle for Chase for me will be making you use it (probably not now but in 12 months time when they get sorted) as a main account. How they do that I don’t know.Probably some sort of premium account or benefit that Lloyds/First Direct…etc Cant offer0 -

They would then start reporting to credit agencies. Dont think this could become my main account without a OD facility.
