  • Same thing happened earlier this year when I paid on Arriva Buses with my Chase debit card - a 10p pending purchase stating that it wouldn’t earn cashback then, a day or two later, the full £2.00 was deducted with all of 2p cashback awarded:

Silly question that’s probably been answered somewhere but I can’t find it. I have been with Chase since Dec 2023 I’ve had the 1% cashback offer since then. Originally it didn’t require a minimum pay in to qualify and it had no limit but then it changed to having £500 minimum pay in to be eligible but mine ends in December. Does anyone who has been with Chase longer have any idea if they will extend the offer or once you have it is that it after the second year?

I have been with Chase since early 2022, After the first year you can still get cashback but you need to pay in £1,500 pcm which is easily achieved

I’ve almost had it 2 years and 2 offers so will that automatically become available to me at expiry of my existing offer?

With the "Best current accounts" the Chase link (near the top) rate needs updating.

I went on a Stagecoach bus recently and paid with an alternative card as their ticket machines process transactions offline and the Chase debit card mandates online authorisation; however, that transaction went into my pending transactions so was performed online. That means you should now be able to use your Chase debit card on Stagecoach buses and earn cashback.
  • Has anyone managed to open a new Chase account after closing one previously?
  • Not strictly a Bank Account update, but finally Chase is launching the Credit Card offer. As per the original account that was offered first to people showing an interest (I signed up as it launched and I received an invite), I have just received a notification of an upcoming invite.

email subject line is “Early-access to the Chase credit card” in case it went into your spam box. Anyone else receive one?
