  • The only workaround I could find is to create a completely new payee with the same sort and account code, the alternate reference then edit the payee name afterwards to tell them apart
Not a general solution but I've swapped my Monmouth (& Principality) monthly RS deposits to First Direct for this reason.

No doubt FD will "fix" this "bug"  any day now.

First Direct doesn't save multiple references per payee though, it just creates a new payee if a different reference is entered, which is convenient considering its other limitations (payee names and payment references can't be edited). The end result is the same as Chase's (current) implementation, with separate payees for each reference.

Just had an email from Chase saying the ability to make cash deposits has been delayed, no new start date given.

Finally planing to take advantage of JPM Chase contactless, and today Transactions are Auth as req.
I'll use Chase for supermarket spending which leaves rbs for SO/DD's.
Did JPM ever offer DD's in uk.

    thanks

Chase have supported direct debit payments from their current accounts since fairly early on after launch.

They also allow direct debits from their saver account.
  • Question for anyone approaching the end of their maximum £15 a month cashback year.

Are Chase extending it for another year?

They sent another (very short) survey about credit cards recently, perhaps they will have some Cashback promo for this instead of renewing current account promo.
