no ... you can spend as little or as much as you want but the cashback is limited to £15 a month.
You qualify for the cashback from 1st April if you have paid in (and perhaps immediately withdrawn) £500 the preceding month, you get a text stating you are eligible.0 -

When you have reached the £500 level. In my case I did an in/out transfer from an external account sometime at the beginning of March, which means I will be fine if I keep to my normal routine of maintaining a balance of about £50.

I must have notifications turned on for Chase App because when a transaction needs approval I can see a notification.
Btw, last night i checked if Chase app was showing my eligibility by following the guide posted by @dealyboy in earlier post:
https://www.chase.co.uk/gb/en/support/cashback-offer/
Yes, it was. App said something like 'eligible for April 2023'.

... sorry for the earlier confusion re text/notification ... I have just checked my hub eSaver (Santander) account ... I transferred £1,000 to my Chase CA on 3rd March and got a message on my smart phone front screen that I had qualified for cashbacks in April, this would have been a notification. I would then have transferred the bulk of it to the Chase SA. I have not bothered to check the Chase app for qualification.
... sorry again for not having had quite the precision I would normally expect from others.

Hi,
Does anyone know whether mortgage, council tax & utility payment switch to direct debit are covered in 1% Chase cash back scheme? That is easily a tenner to 20 for anyone in the current weather, init?

Cashback Exclusions | Chase UK - The literature is not too clear on the above, classic uncle sam. They say they go by merchant category code. Anyone tried?
