Been with Chase for almost a year now, card is still in its white card wallet.
Never used or left the house.
Card was added to Google wallet when account was set up.
That was the last time I saw the card.

Currently, the company I work for pay me in USD via Payoneer and I then manually transfer it into my bank account. I'm assuming this would not be possible with chase? Payoneer do use the Global Payment Service, so perhaps if I moved/converted my balance from USD to GBP on Payoneer and then transferred it to Chase it might work, but I don't know if it would cost me any more (or less?) to do it that way. Does anyone have any experience with this or know if Chase would except a transfer from Payoneer? I've tried asking Chase but all they keep doing is replying with a link to their FAQ document.Having said that if you get paid in USD, you may be better off with one of the two routes we have mentioned in another thread recently:
Fineco UK multi currency account
HSBC (you needs to have a GBP account and open both a Currency Account and Global Money Account. You will use the Currency Account to receive USD, then internal Transfer to Global Money USD pot, and within Global Money convert at very good rates)
Few things from me, and I will list them in a bullet point form as you seem to get hung up to the wrong concept I am trying to make:
- most people on here would have multiple accounts, so opening a free Chase account should be independent from what you want to do with it, as it has its own benefit anyway without needing to be your only account.
- how do you make the transfer from Payoneers? (Assuming it is your own account and not your employer account). Do you send USD to your HSBC or you can select the GBP amount and clearly send that from Payoneers end? If you can just select the USD amount in Payoneers, then the currency exchange would be done by the receiving bank. If instead you can select the amount to send in GBP from Payoneers, then they would handle the conversions. You can further check from the HSBC statement side on the specific pay in transaction, it should have further notes about currency received and fees applied if the amount originally received was not GBP.
- whichever of the two scenarios above you are actually in, as both Payoneers and HSBC standard GBP account will apply fees, it will be a more costly set up than if you follow my (and others in different threads) suggestions to open an HSBC Currency Account (https://www.hsbc.co.uk/international/currency-account/) and also an HSBC Global Money Account (https://www.hsbc.co.uk/international/travel-money-card/) . NB, you would need both, the first link attempt to promote the Global Money account as an alternative but you need to progress with the Foreign Currency Account and separately also apply for the Global Money Account.
you need to be an HSBC UK customer in the first place to apply to those additional accounts, so by being one already you are well set up.
-once again, Chase is just a GBP account, the “foreign currency” positive functionality is exclusively linked to the Debit card usage not the account itself. So paying in a foreign currency will also incur in fees that would be mostly avoided if you followed the HSBC route . You keep asking if Chase will “accept” a payment from Payoneers. If Payoneer can handle sort code and account number (UK format) then it is definitive that they can accept it. If however Payoneer can only use IBAN, Chase officially do not support it /share your account IBAN number but (my experience) I have extrapolated by IBAN and made a payment to myself (SEPA/Using the IBAN i derived) from one of my EU based account, but I sent the GBP amount at origin, so have not tested the Chase conversion handling, rate and fees.
- as a further alternative, Fineco UK Multi-currency account is also an alternative.0 -

I have added my Chase card to Google Pay but that was after I received it.
I wouldn't have thought you could add it directly from the Chase app to the Google Pay app, but I may be wrong.
PS: I have just realised that there are no card details on the card. Therefore it can only be added to Google Pay using the card details from the Chase app.
Hence I guess @Bigwheels1111 was saying in a sideways fashion that you did not have to wait before using the "card"

The only details provided to the customer are those of the virtual debit card in the app (which are different than the physical card).0
