New to using my Chase card and just discovered that the card number on the app is not the same as the numberless debit card number.  I registered my card on Airtime Rewards for cashback, using the number on the app not realising there were 2 different numbers, but my physical card transaction has not tracked due to the number not being the same.  Does anyone know a way to find out the number on the physical card so I can change it on AR?  I have tried contacting CS on Chase app and got nowhere with them.

Open the app on spend, then see card and then see details.

AR CS will correct / manually register the transaction for you

Don't change it on Airtime, add another card with the second card number. Retailers could use either number.

I used a third-party Android NFC app to obtain the 'real' number of my Chase card, and added that to Airtime.

That is the number I put on AR, which is not the same as my card as the last 4 digits, if not all, at different and hence it has not shown as a transaction.  I have contacted AR in the hope they can help, but cba doing that each time I spend with Chase.  I don't see the point of not putting a number on the card and then giving a totally different number on the app? I understand if you use google or apple pay it shows a different number, but I only use the physical card and don't even know the details of it!

Thanks for the tip, but have no idea how that works and how it shows the card number and can I then delete once I find the number or do I need to use it to pay?  I have never used my phone to pay I prefer a physical card. Also how do you choose the app carefully as there seems to be quite a few other than look at reviews?

I've got an app called Credit Card Reader NFC (EMV) on my Samsung. Doesn't seem to have passed my details to bad people.

Install it, follow the instructions to get the Chase physical card number, add the number to Airtime. Delete the app.

Add the virtual card number as displayed in the Chase app to Airtime as well.

If you pay for Transport for London services on your Chase card then the details of the transaction shown on the app will show your physical card number. Think that it also shows on your Oyster/TfL account if you've registered the Chase card there.

I found out when a merchant gave me their copy of a receipt which had the full card number on it and expiry date.

I looked at that app, but not happy with the reviews, in fact given up looking as every card reader app I have checked has lots of bad feedback, confusing feedback or one word feedback that I don't trust and not happy to download any I have found so given up looking.
I can't pay for Transport for London as in Manchester so that option a no go too.
    Thanks for trying to help.
Think I will just go back to using my Halifax card and not bother much with the Chase card as have been put off using it due to this issue.
