yes but an old one. AFAIK, the last ever model was produced in 2019.
According to Wikipedia, Apple discontinued it in May 2022, and it was the last in its line, but it is still on sale new from a number of retailers. By far not the oldest supported device, can be updated to iOS 15, which is still receiving security updates.
OK, I admit defeat. I am still not impressed, though, with the way the Chase developers specify their platform requirements, whether iOS or Android. No idea why they don't list the iPad, and why they don't tell Android users what the hardware requirements are.

I don't know how much control Chase has over what appears in the compatibility section in the Apple App Store, but I thought the same as you - that it is strange to list device types and then miss iPad.
Over at the Google Play Store, no compatibility information is listed. They perform a behind the scenes check for which of your devices meets the requirements, and hides those that do not (and hides the app from the device when looking on the device itself). MSE must have got the Android compatibility information from somewhere else, perhaps here. Note that Chase itself doesn't mention iPhones, iPods etc.

It's not a smartphone as you cannot put a SIM in it.  You can make wifi calls though.  It's like an iPhone but without the phone part.

Well, ok, tablet with the dimensions of a phone.

The time frame for the Round-Ups has always been a year and then transferred to the account of your choice. Right now, it says "Annual transfer: We’ll transfer any funds (including interest) in the account to an account of your choosing annually." but when I was researching it around the beginning, it said it in another way (pretty sure).

Still, I was expecting it to happen, so everyone will get that 90 day notification.
  • Pleasantly surprised to get cashback on discounted supermarket e-vouchers. Thought it might come under the prepaid card exemption

Another glitch I've just seen - go into rewards, try and transfer the balance out. It says done, but then the rewards balance stays the same (i.e. not done). Tried restarting the app, but same result.

I was trying to work out how the 1% cashback was calculated. My Barclaycard does it on aggregate spending over the statement period and then awards a cashback percentage of whole pounds spent.
I tried looking at the Chase website and T&Cs and couldn't find out how it was calculated. From what I can see it rounds to the nearest pound for each transaction and credits 1% of that (i.e. an item costing £1.00-£1.49 gets 1p cashback and an item costing £1.50-£2.00 gets 2p cashback).
I suppose it balances out in the end whichever system is used, just interesting to see the differing approaches.

    That is correct.

Could be worse. Amex only pay it on the £ integer of a transaction and ignore the pence.

When lots of things are £x.99, that could be a few coffees worth of cashback lost.
