  • I see some people in the Symbio thread have had their final bills (albeit not all correct), but seems there is more progress on that SOLR transfer , than PFPs!

My BG account now states I have a £5.97 debit - though no indication on how this figure has been arrived at, maybe final balance transferred from PfP?.  PfP site just states that my £13.98 is now overdue.

I've had 2 bills from British Gas although I switched away from them last week, so I'm in a slightly different situation.

But they've only billed me for Gas and Electricity from 11 October.  They've issued a final bill and closed my account, saying my credit balance (left over from a new DD I set up with them) will be refunded in 10 days.

So I'll have to wait and see what happens with my small PFP credit when they get round to issuing a final bill, and if/when British Gas bill me for 12th September - 11th October!

I've asked them about it and apparently its the standing charge
  • Very much doubt I will ever see that £220 credit that was in that account. It's a complete shambles.

You will but it’s very early in the process.

You absolutely will see your money.
  • I logged in to my British Gas account now that states I have a £4.84 debit. Mind you, last bill was paid fully.
There is no bill explaining the £4.84 charge.

Am I right that until they don't produce a bill I have legal right not to pay it?

    Thanks.

  • Hi,
think they only bill ever 3 months.

Is anyone on their direct debit? Do they bill more frequently on that?
