Is anybody else still recovering from renewing energy plan. £60 to £88 and I went with the lowest 0ctopus estimate. At least I am escaping the claws of 3df where I landed after g33enenergy folded, right after I joined. It says it's green energy, and I just hope their fees are actually lower than the 3df, (I didn't really check, only the monthly dd) Bad bad me. But thats it show over for 2 years. I just want light in my lamps and heat in my radiator, and bills every once in a while. Never has happened so far w 3df.
Grateful for sort of still being in bed, just on calls with people, best spot as next to router.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

I have not yet switched, as the tarriff I am on for the next 6 weeks is about £360 less a year than the next best thing on the market. I am looking into solar panels and a battery.

Spent the morning wrestling with the laptop which alternately froze, started loading and then deciding it needed a little sleep or just had a black screen with a black cursor (it might be me as I've got mum's tv stuck on silent and the bedside lamp is flickering and cutting out (have a spare bulb so that one might be an easy fix).
Went in the yard this afternoon. Last thing I did yesterday evening was to upend an old bin onto a raised bed, having dug out about 2/3 of the contents. There were quite a few stones at the bottom so had to shovel those out and sieve through. Got most but not all of them. Planted rows of carrots, shallots and spinach (all part grown) and a row of yellow pansies interspersed with white muscari bulbs (for spring). Moved onto two beds I mostly cleared yesterday (harvested the remaining green beans - most done 2 weeks ago but left some of the smaller ones to grow a bit more and picked all the green tomatoes to ripen indoors). Tomato plants removed and both beds replanted with onions, some strawberries and a row of carrots and shallots at the front. Four cabbages, a few pepper plants and lollo rosso left in place.
At 4 pm I phoned for a taxi (20 minute wait) and went to town. Left it so late hoping the teenagers would have gone home (successful). Had a long list in my diary and managed to get cash for mum, 21st birthday card, next year's diary (already have December appointments), a hard back a-z notebook, stamps, my puzzle book (they were closing and had already turned the card machines off), insect bite and sting cream and got to exchange my 10 pound gift card (spent 10-31 but had two ys goodies in my pile, only paid the 31 pence). Also picked up 3 books from the charity pile and put a blue token in the food bank slot.
Grateful for SM trolleys that you can use to help you stand up and walk, getting lots crossed off the list, wiggling my toes and fingers warding off most of the cramps. My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -
Today I am grateful for getting my workout done early on, for our GP being so good with dc, for the school receptionist being lovely, for two awesomely yummy f+v liddle boxes, for finding out I'm going to be a (step) grandma for the third time.

Still on 12 NSDs. Lost one today as I fancied a nice breakfast tomorrow so ordered Pain au Chocolat from the milkman for delivery tomorrow. Thought as I was losing a day anyway I would also add some Brioche baguettes as well.oops.
Good day at work and finished just about on time tonight in deference to the weekend. Haven’t done much this evening except plan lots to do over the weekend. I love a list and usually produce an entirely unreasonable list of things to do but then achieve more as I can pick and choose which tasks to do.
Grateful today for Nice sunny weather, great work colleagues, early finishes on Fridays and a weekend off work. That money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"6 -

A great day was had! Doubled up with another member of staff for part of the morning, went really well & we had a laugh at the same time. In the afternoon, I accompanied a group going for a walk. We went into town (not far away) & followed a trail looking for shapes carved into some of the paving stones (a lobster, chicken standing a creek, coins, etc) relating to historical times here. Really enjoyed it ☺️
Did the ironing when I got home, then received a message saying someone was going to drop something off, could I stand at the top of the drive? It was pouring with rain, so I stood under a tree & listened to the rain on the leaves - love the sound of rain!
Finished sewing the new lining into a coat & watched TV, had some chocolate & a large glass of pe4ch schn4pps & lemonade by my side 😃
Grateful for a great walk, getting jobs done, the sound of rainUse it up, wear it out

Today I am losing 1/6th of the household. DS1 leaves home and is heading down to his new life in L0nd0n T0wn. I am horrifically excited for him. Hopefully he will grasp the opportunity to adult, and transmogrify into whoever he wants to be
.
Now I have to learn to cook at least 1/4 less food on a daily basis (DS1 could eat for TeamGB at the 0lympics).We went out scrumping last night and I have 3 bags for life full of all sorts of apples, and 3 types of plums, and two pears. It was a family activity DS1 wanted to do before he left. Now I have a ridiculous amount of apples to prep and DS3 wants to make an apple pie once DS1 has gone, probably because he knows 1/4 of it won't disappear into DS14/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Lost my NSD yesterday for nowt Pain au Chocolat was not delivered. They will refund automatically so not a problem but as the brioche baguettes I ordered to make it worthwhile losing the NSD for we’re delivered so it’s still a spend. Maybe it’s a higher being telling me that eating those won’t help me lose the few extra lbs I gained during lock downs.
Today should be a NSD as I have nothing planned except general household chores and starting on the never ending clear out. I’m getting rid of more and more stuff each time so I am now being really strict regarding what stays. The good news is the areas that have been fully decluttered are generally staying that way. It’s just all the do I don’t I items. If I’m unsure then why keep it.
Have a good day everyoneThat money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"6
