Evening turtles
Been a lovely sunny day here in the NW so i got 2 lots of washing line dried. Met DD1 at lunch as borrowed a suitcase, popped to SM while out and stocked up on cat food, orange squash (they didn't have any in t0sco and in Sainz it was twice the arseda price!) and peanut butter plus other stuff. Tackled a work frog & am getting through my to do list. Did work from my PT#1 job first thing. Caught up with PT#2 job & checked payslip so i can be paid (2 weeks late so far!). One day left in work before 6 days annual leave. Loads to do and out most of tomorrow and won't be back from the office till about 10pm. No idea when i will pack but it will all get done somehow...
gratitudes - help with work frog; nice phone chat with DD2; putting most of my windfall into savings

Today I am grateful for tuna mayo, for getting some marking done, for help with a job application, for dc getting on with their hwk, for free books from the library online service.

I'm a bit bewildered atm. Tried posting this morning but got a bit lost and then what I'd written disappeared. Put a SM order in last night, to be delivered Sunday (cheap slot) but did it so that checkout was today (after midnight). Then ordered 2 x 10 kg sand and cement mix (may need more but that will do to start with) and the grid for my house (they're calling it a drain cover insert or some such and I had to search for the size I wanted). Given mum 32.10 to cover the cost as it was her account.
Got stressed by 'things to do' this morning, many are time or weather limited. Then decided I had to accept that they were not going to get done, but if I calmed down, prioritised and did what I could, at least something would get done. Have hung mum's washing out to dry in the yard (and brought it in later), done a rubbish round up, cooked a batch of chicken breasts and will freeze them in ones and twos and have nearly put the final half raised bed together. Was going to go back outside but realised I was cold and creaky so had a warm shower and wrapped up. Want to go to town/ my house tomorrow (puzzle book day) but will try not to overdo things.
Was rather upset when I went home on Monday - it looked such a mess and I despaired about ever making progress. Think I need to go for several hours for several days on the trot but can't see me getting to do that. DS3's latest game is doing well (he showed me his figures, sold over 700 copies in 5 days) so maybe he can pay for some help (think a skip is the first stage). Need to keep reminding myself that I am not fully fit (not even near normal level of unfit) and that anything I manage beyond getting washed and dressed is a bonus.
Grateful for getting most of a raised bed put together (DS2 had put all the smaller pieces in a bucket under the table and then put the things I'd asked him to put under the table in front of it - took longer to get them out than it did to assemble), for finding a pack of chocolate hobnobs in my fridge, for simple food to eat (and a sore throat lozenge). My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -
Staying on NSD 6. I did a top up shop and bought 3 books for friends’ baby’s first birthday (found a 15% discount code and 2% cashback). I also switched bank accounts today to take advantage of NW’s £125 switch offer mentioned in MSE newsletter today.Grateful for deals and discounts, a productive day at work, the perks of working from home (not being tempted to buy a convenience lunch, not forking out on transport, getting to do laundry during the day, being able to have the radio on, the list is long).NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸5

Hello,
sorry been AWOL for a while. NSD don't look good but bank balance is still ok. Mine at least. DH is another story.
Had to buy a lawnmower and just remembered in time that it is our 7th wedding anniversary this weekend. So I'm making sth copper related (I know it's cotton in the UK, but this was easier) for DH but also bought him a little gift.
Need desperately to update my numbers and catch up on posts.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/258 -

I am mighty tired and ready for my annual leave..... Just got to get through an afternoon, do a 60 mile round trip to work for an evening meeting, do a detour to M$S to collect some jeans i ordered and return a bra that doesnt fit, then i can put my laptop away for 10 days!
Had an early start, walked to the hairdressers, hair chopped and no longer greyCalled at PO to return a skirt i ordered and don't like. Put a load of washing on the line and logged onto work. Was supposed to have a virtual meeting over lunch but to my joy it was postponed! Got a couple of things i must do before heading off towards work.
Had a success yesterday as i emailed Ollie Bones store about a heart bracelet i bought for DD1 to celebrate her heart procedure, she wore it once and lost it! She was adamant it wasn't loose and was very upset. She bought herself another one and the clasp broke so it fell off (indoors so she didn't lose it). I emailed to say we presume that's what happened to first bracelet so they have refunded us for both
Lovely sunny day here, hope everyone is ok.

It is my weekend, well, I still have to do the school run forwards and backwards tomorrow, but apart from that, nothing responsible until Monday. Yay!The big glowy radiation thing is in the sky, which is odd, so will stick out some laundry and let it do its thing.Still on NSD 6 - bought a lamp with shade for £2.50 reduced in Mr Willyco from £10 because ( so the sticker says) it has the wrong lampshade. Also bought slightly crushed boxes of tissues for 25p. So I bought 6. They are useful and in the 'winter cupboard' along with all the candles.Nothing else to report, huge underspend this week. More yay!Chin up turtles!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Hi turtles, no NSD today so still on 11. Paid my car cc - £579 left, if my old employer rectifies their error this month and pays me what they owe me I JUST MIGHT be able to clear it next month. But we'll see, no pressure, if I don't do it next month I can do it the following month.
Work picked up today and I felt really good having more to do, started to get my mojo back a bit. It's always hard changing jobs and you wonder if you've done the right thing. I think I got so used to being completely overrun that I've forgotten what a proper induction is like!6
