Evening turtles. Not much to report today, bagged another NSD. Managed a 45 minute walk in the rain this morning, which is the most I've done since my back procedure. In hindsight it may have been a bit too far as my pain levels shot up but it's all OK now.
Work is slowly picking up, I think I need to adjust to a slightly quieter pace. My old job was so hectic because of staff shortages and lack of money for recruitment so I got used to being rushed off my feet, now I am struggling to adapt! But I'll get there.
We're almost halfway through the month, keep up the good work turtles!8 -
NSD 6.Busy day at work. I’ve got a headache I suspect from too much screen-time.I used up sprouting potatoes to make chips and had two bulging butties for lunch. 😂 I also quickly blitzed up some carrots and celery, and threw them into the soup maker with some brown rice. That’s lunch sorted for the rest of this week!Grateful today for the energy to be productive, for rain watering the grass and plants, for OH showing me how to create QR codes.NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸6

I've had a sleepy day. Took my CPAP machine into the front room with me, to wait for my food box delivery. Luckily he came before lunch (could have been any time between 8 am and 6 pm) so I was able to relax a bit once I'd put it away. No quotes because I don't think my brain was working properly this morning - couldn't even play a simple game so wouldn't risk the frustration of trying to post (laptop was extremely slow) and then losing it all - will do extra tomorrow. Took over an hour to read the last few pages of my book - kept dozing and it ended up on the floor.
Ate simply using leftover bits. Only went out as far as the shed and the front (to put the bin out). Mum came to ask what something she had found in the freezer - the last of the chicken korma and rice I'd cooked for her (not been eating it whilst she was ill) so she had that for her lunch.
Grateful for sleep, doing lots of tidying at weekend so don't feel the need to do much today, lots of odds and ends to make meals from.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage5 -
Very quick post from me tonight. Just finished work. Not good but got to where I wanted to be.
NSD # 10 today. Resisted the urge to order a takeaway. The last couple I’ve had haven’t been that great and I end up thinking I could have done better myself so I’m actually glad I didn’t order one. Ended up with some already cooked baby potatoes in the air fryer, sliced ham and coleslaw and really enjoyed it.
Grateful today for well stocked food cupboards, fridge and freezer, Hermes parcel collections (saved me going out to post a bay of E sale) and money hitting my account for last weeks sales on bay of E (not enough to retire on but a few pounds more than I had and a few items left the house)

Evening turtles
Had to spend today as needed to buy breakdown cover for the car. Added to existing insurance policy as price seemed competitive. Achieved a lot at FT job, went for a walk at lunch but not managed 10k steps the past 2 days. Went to PT role #1 this eve, was good and they agreed to give me 2 increments for passing my qualification - I work less than 5 hours per week so won't change my life! But all helpsAlso heard from PT role #2 regarding pay and asking me to check the amount before they arrange payment.
gratitudes - being able to get lots of washing mostly dry on the line; increments for qualification; achieving a lot on little sleep zzzzz

Well managed to cook for 9.30pm monday night and co produce a pizza w ds2 last night - we actually ate together, which was lovely, and today is a grand round of ravioli, and I bought aldie mixed taco beans and wraps - so now have more 'fast food' in the house. I like to cook for the freezer, but somehow we just eat all of it before it ever makes it there.
Grateful for clubswim last night - what's better than somebody telling you how to breathe in a pool.
Grateful for ds1 getting a visit from ds2. Ds2 then shared some of his dark thoughts for his brother's future - I think he is trying to protect himself.
On the mse side iI did a weekly shop for 46 - still have so much food in store and freezer - just need to cook it - so really just want to buy too much more food. Sorry I'm not really caught up on reading.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%

Am on 11 NSD. Not working for 3 days this week as I was unable to book shifts. Just got a couple of shifts and managed to book some shifts for next week. Picked up the bedding order from my favourite shop yesterday.
Grateful for:
Speaking to brother and nephew on phone.
Going for a lovely long walk in park.
Having ingredients in to bake a cake.

NSD # 11 today.
we were supposed to go in the office for the first day today but they cancelled it last week as the big boss is on holiday and they wanted him there. Maybe next week we will see.
Finished work earlier today. Still worked too many hours but that’s what happens when you work in a completely new team on a new system.
Grateful today for lovely sunny weather, sitting in the garden to eat lunch, great conversation with DD and being asked for advice by DSS regarding DGS (his Dad and I are no longer together but we are still really close and he always values my opinion)
