NSD # 12 today. Feeling really good about that.
Had a really productive day at work and only worked about 30 minutes extra each end of the day so not too bad.
Nothing much to say except I’m slowly working my way through my freezer. Will need to produce a meal plan tomorrow or over the weekend to use up more of the contents and some of the general stock of food stuffs in the house. I always like to have well stocked cupboards but due to Covid-19 and government food parcels, that I kept trying to cancel with no success until 2 weeks before they stopped them for all vulnerable people, I have a bit more than even I like to have. As I didn’t really need the parcels I used all of the fresh produce and kept a few of the items but did donate a lot to my daughters friends who had set up a food service for people that were struggling but fell outside of the food bank eligibility.
Grateful today for helpful work colleagues that auctioned queries promptly, lunch in the garden in the sun, an early finish to make the most of the last of the sun in the garden. That money talks I don't deny, I heard it once, it said "Goodbye"7 -

Been absent for a couple of days. Moved more soil after work Tuesday, then sewing. Yesterday took things to the dump, then went to town to get shopping, two days earlier than usual, but wanted to use the last two L1DL vouchers, to get another £10 off. Stocked up on meat for the freezer & some basics. Sewing again after tea.
Today has been another roasting hot day. Visited a lady after work, she's staying in her self catering house, but lives in England most of the time. We sat in her garden for 2 hours, catching up. She also gave me a bag of clothes to repair for her, as well as a beautiful new duvet set & lampshade. Washed up after tea, then more hand sewing - nearly finished now 😃
Grateful for the rare sight of two paragliders drifting above the sea next to our school (caused great excitement amongst the kids, & staff!), a catch up in the sun, work going wellUse it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Aims for today include nsd day, first this month, accept new job, complete section of freelance work so I can invoice to the tune of £500 - I actually really need that dough, run laundry, go for a run, possibly club track run tonight, eat some cookies, make granola, tidy and clean at least my bedroom. Help ds2 pack for uni, organise visit from a school friend to ds1, (the mum is my good friend so a good place to start), possibly do some weeding or gardening, ... and bubble bubble breathe (quote swimming instructor). Find my mouth guard and wear it, to prevent stress from getting the better of my teeth and save £150 for a new one.
Grateful for ds2 cooking me dinner last night, and doing some tidying and cleaning on his own initiative, for a 3 day weekend, for a local job being stuffed down my knapsack, and just life in general.
Great weekend everybody, enjoy it and make the most of it.
