If you've had the offer, switched away and came back, would you get another £125? I can't really see a limitation in the T&Cs
Probably worth reading them properly then, especially clauses 4 and 10, although there may be possibilities if using both sole and joint accounts....

    Definitely.

Although there is nothing that would stop you from just trying your luck it with another switch or two. You might get lucky, you might not. All you have to 'lose' is another donor account and two minutes of your life, filling in the switch request. I would say that most people won't get lucky though because even though Nationwide seem to determine eligibility for the offer manually, their staff probably do get things mostly right.
  • Hi first post so apologies if it’s been answered somewhere on the site.

I want to switch a joint account and a sole account separately to Nationwide. Would I get the switch reward twice - one for each account switched?

If not, is there any bank accounts that gives you the reward for each switched account?

    thanks!

Yes as long as you switched one to a solo and one to a joint account with Nationwide.

    Hi,

Sorry, I'm sure this has likely been asked on here buried among the pages.  It looks like I had a FlexDirect account in the past, created 2016, ended either Oct 2017 (no saved record), or Oct 2018 when I can see I switched to HSBC.  Would I be eligible to do this switch for the £100/125?  I normally would see something in the details like not been a member for x years or such, but this one doesn't seem to specify as far as I can see in the T&C

Re your first question - the offer is open to existing or new members - that's clear from the terms. Not sure why you haven't picked that up from the T&C. You are definitely eligible for the switch offer. Everyone is (as long as they switch in with two DDs).  Unless they've already done this particular offer.

If you are a member you're eligible.
    If you're not a member you're eligible.
If you were a member once but you're not now, the second line applies! Simples.

Re FlexDirect in particular - you may be getting confused by the interest-paying terms (which are nothing to do with the switch terms).  For FlexDirect you won't get the higher interest rate if you've ever had FlexDirect before. So you will not get the higher interest rate if you open a FlexD account.  But you will get the switch bonus.  There's no particular advantage to FlexDirect without the interest so open a FlexAccount instead.

    The terms are here:

    in outline:   https://www.nationwide.co.uk/current-accounts/switch/

    and in detail:  https://www.nationwide.co.uk/current-accounts/help/terms/current-account-online-switch-offer-terms-and-conditions/

Your DD questions are covered multiple times in this thread!
Though for existing (or previous) FlexDirect account holders there isn't the additional benefit of 2% interest for a year on balances up to £1.5K, they are still paying 0.25% with FlexDirect and nothing with the Flex account.
  • Switches completed on both mine and OH account, and 125 paid in :)  Is there any requirement to stay with them now to keep any bonus, or am I able to look at moving again?  (Thats if can find anything else of worth.....prob won't be anything to be fair for my secondary account)

Are the terms not clear about the requirement to stay or otherwise?

Nothing mentioned at all about leaving that I can see from reading through the T&Cs but wanted to check on here in case anyone knew otherwise
