Your MP's action seems perfectly reasonable to me.  I am sure he/she is well aware of any issues of confidentiality .
You never know how far you can go until you go too far.
  • Thanks guys. I hope you’re right, I know it would’ve all come out in the end but I at least thought he’d ask my permission.

It will be interesting to see if he replies when these documents have gone to his accountants address this time.

Really?  Sending to a convicted criminal?

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I would be concerned about the email address and think the MP should have redacted it.  Sounds like lack of thought on his behalf while genuinely trying to help you.

  • See below latest from my MP. This is the 2nd attempt to contact Del Grosso (Autosec) this time at the correspondence address listed at companies house!  The address does keep changing...!

Further to our previous correspondence, I just thought I should let you know that I used the alternative address you provided for Autosec and unfortunately the letter has been returned to me unopened. Therefore I have been unable to reach Peter Del Grosso. I will be in touch when I have a response from the British Parking Association. If, in the meantime, there is anything else I can do to help please do let me know.

    Kind regards,

Could this go in my favour?  I’m getting sick of all the paperwork I’m collating.

I would not worry too much that the MP sent personal information. Anything untoward would be pointed directly to Del Grosso

Let's see how up to date the BPA are in record keeping as they should know where Del Grosso is and so should DCBL

Thanks. I guess it’s just as well I didn’t complain about my personal info sent.
Where do defendants stand if they try to contact claimant, only to never get a response?

How about the MP sending a letter c/o Autosec's known solicitors, which in other cases has been confirmed as a current address for service for him, by virtue of various claim forms?
