dont forget you can get the code free from virgin if youve spent £30 on credit (no good after 5 tries though, but maybe useful if you get another one)

Thanks but I doubt I will be spending £30 with Virgin. I just want the phone to use in Hong Kong when I go there for Christmas. There it cost $78HKD (£5.70) for 540mins on peoples phone PAYG.

Does anyone know if MOTOROLLA V220 can be unlocked by putting a code in, or will I have to take it to someone with a data cable to unlock it. Thanks.

i, was wondering if anyone could help me unlock my nokia 6230, i tried a couple of codes from the nokiafree site but they didnt work.

the imei is 355008005010040 and is currently locked to t-mobile. it was an upgrade, got it by phoning CS about a year ago.

have you checked its not already unlocked?
if it is locked
try code 1 first if no good then code 7
