in the code, you will also notice the p, w and + symbols...

Insert the WRONG sim card.
When it says phone restricted,
press "undo."
It will ask for a restriction code
and enter the code in to the box
on screen
input this code.

I have just bought one of the Nokia 1100 phones from Virgin (£26.99 with £25 airtime!). Incidentally excellent service - ordered via internet at 4pm yesterday arrived today 11am!

I need to unlock this phone but noticed while unpacking the sim card that it says....."Your default security pin is xxxx and your personal unblocking key is xxxxxxxx" (the latter is an 8 digit number) - I assume this is nothing to to with unlocking?

Anyway - could someone give me the code to unlock it please?

Don't think I'm ever going to ge the hand of these Nokia unlock codes. I'm trying to unlock a Nokia 2650 my brother has just bought, and both codes I've tried have been wrong.

The handset is locked to Orange and IMEI is 355672003668040 and the codes I've tried so far are:

#pw+20 60 05 03 64 62 00 1+7#
#pw+68 30 75 03 64 62 00 1+7#

Both failed

If anyone can help me out with this it would be much appreciated (the last thing I want is to mess up someone elses phone).

i can see where you got your 1st try from but i dont know where you got the 2nd one with custom box serial 95123?
i do these with original box serial

Browntoa - That did the trick mate, thanks you very much. I still don't know how you guys do it, I need to do some more reading about the NokiaFREE Calculator and different box serials.

drahcir - Thanks for your post too mate. I got the second box serial by searching the thread for other Nokia 2650's on Orange that had been unlocked and had the same prefix on the IMEI. I then plugged the generated unlock code into NokiaFree and tried to calculate my unlcok code based on the settings it applied. (I think it was a code generated on 03/10/2005?).

When you say the 'original box serial' can I ask how you determine this?
