Thanks Browntoa but it looks like I had already used my five goes. It just comes up with the message "Not Allowed"
I assume I will have to unlock it via cable.0 -

your not putting the spaces in are you?
and make sure you put in the #PW+ (in case you dont know)
it usually says "cannot undo restriction" when you used your 5 tries
not allowed usually means an error entering code
also try without a sim in it or a different n/work sim0 -
Hi drahcir. I've tried what you suggested but it still comes up with the mesage "Not Allowed" with a big green Tick. I've tried it with an O2 sim and without a sim but no luck.
Initially when I tried unlocking it by myself, it came up with an error code message. Now it just comes up with the message "Not Allowed"
Last week, I managed to unlock an Orange 3220 for my brother. It seems Virgin Mobiles are more tricky to unlock.0 -
Hi,
Sorry if anyone's covered this before but could someone clarify how you know which settings to use (ie V1, V2, New Griffin) when you're getting the code? My phone's a Nokia 7600 with 3.
Thanks!0 -

Hi Drahir, thanks for the offer, much appreciated.:)
First I will try and return it to back to Virgin for a full refund and order another 2600 at the same time. I know they have a 28 days returns policy and since i haven't made any calls yet, I am hoping I will get a full refund.
However, if that fails I will take you up on the offer.
Thanks again.0
