Bizarrely I did 5,6 and 7.
Then fell asleep and woke up STARVING. So had two helpings of stew and dumplings, thank God for my Mum's cooking skills and a slow cooker.
Now am meant to be setting cover.
poor kids.

I had to go back out to the rabbits, there is a divider between the two pairs and I didn't put it back properly, I managed though. Pleased I remembered, I don't have a car at the moment - MOT etc so if they had got to each other and there was damage I would be in trouble.
Hutch comes on Friday. smallest bun will move out. Once Car is sorted I can take my every growing charity pile to the charity shop and get on with moving things round.

Ah the joys of teaching where you become just a number and face.Hope you’re ok xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x2 -
Get a certificate and send it to work. Pottering around at home does not make you fit enough to do a full day in work. Don’t underestimate how long getting over any virus can take - never mind covid. Work will survive without you for another week. If you potter around at home getting a few bits sorted it’ll help you body and mind 👍

Buffy I would say from my experience with Covid don't even think about going back to work before Christmas.
You must think about yourself, not the school.
Don't be pressurized to go back before you are 110% betterIf you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.4 -
I am super tired and super uncomfortable. I did Sainsbury's, moved a new box of hay in for the rabbits, did dinner as Mum is too tired, still haven't cleaned out the poor guinea pigs but they have hay and decent food thanks to the delivery.
I never thought I would say this but I am so uncomfortable in bed or on the bed all the time. I am SO happy Isolation is over with tomorrow.
I can't say I am not worried about work on Monday but the thought of setting more cover work just fills me with dread. Am struggling to come up with stuff for tomorrow. Now I have sat for a bit and eaten I feel better. I really want a drink.Nevertheless she persisted.4 -
Do not go to work on Monday and remember that while you are unfit, you should not be expected to set cover, etc. I doubt that your employer is insured for this.
also, in some instances, employers consider both number of instances of sick leave as well as duration. Too often people who return earlier than they should, relapse and end up being adversely impacted by having to take two separate sick leave periods. They need your fit note so that they can claim SSP back on your behalf (even if they pay you full pay while you’re off, they can still claim it).As INOD says, you should be resting if you’re off sick, not setting cover. And you need to not go back until you are completely better or you’ll relapse. Or get Long Covid (which is no fun, I promise - I’m 18 months in, with a prognosis of another 12-18 months recovery). So stay at home until you’re completely well and can manage a full day of activity. And have checked that you are safe to drive both there and back after a tiring day.4

Teachers are always expected to set cover(and it would seem answer e mails!), regardless of how ill you are, I think the only time I didn't was when my Dad was in hospital and I had a kind head of department. I will see how I feel on Monday but aside from not being able to sleep which I think is partly to do with being stuck in one room and sleeping at weird times I do feel a lot better.
I am so hungry, but I wanted to write some stuff down. One of my friends posted a thing about how the small things are the important things and I know it is naff but it is true, I want to spend more time doing things that make me feel good. Tidying/organising is definitely one of those, the animals for sure and doing things like my fish keeping properly, not just as an add on, an extra chore. Being out of mum's influence for two weeks has definitely been interesting. I think she is quite ill tho which is a worry. But not one I can do anything about right now.
Not having a car is a total pain, I really needed to go to the tip this week. Hmmm. Oh well. It can wait. Breakfast cannot....Nevertheless she persisted.5
