Thanks to you both XXX
I managed to get mum a doctors appointment. Am in shock. In all honesty I should have done it sooner, but you sit on hold, get cut off, lose your place in the queue, you need to ring at 8am and sit for 30 minutes at least. Mum gets quite stressed about it, needs to be up and dressed and you get no choice of appointments so it isn't a great system.
Any how, we have an appointment.

I have been paid.
I had 20 left in my bills account and so sent that to the savings. Once the regular use CC updates (I know I used to pay for dinner but it isn't showing!) I will pay it and send what ever is left from my spends account to the savings.
Clean slate, new mindset.Nevertheless she persisted.2 -
Good news on the cc being paid off. It’s gone now and you’ll soon get the savings back…especially if you take on some tutoring 👍 Have you hidden the cc so you don’t use it too easily ( don’t forget where you put it though😜)
Just a thought ……would it also be worth speaking to a doctor without your mum being present to tell it how it really is as it can be hard to speak honestly with the person about and say how you feel about it all. It might be a step to letting your mum see she needs help if it comes from a doctor……January spends - £587.582 -
think clearing the card is a positive step and you can now focus on keeping the balance at 0 and re building your savings.1

The doctor has given mum a short course of steroids. So that should help. For a week.
It was good really, I picked the prescription up today. She is a bit brighter.
I threw myself into the garden, bit late I know! but needed to do something physical. Planted some of mum's plants (finally!) I still really want to move the lavender... Am in TOTAL denial that work starts up again.
I am tired which is good as hopefully I will sleep.
Plan for tomorrow.
1. Tip. Gather stuff.
2. coffee with friends
3. Garden, move the lavender - sod what happens to it. it is too big and in the way. and have a general tidy up
4. Take chicken out of the freezer
5. Make a high protein lunch (something I am trying) x4
6. ready meals for dinner as will be knackered post gardening.
Sunday.
1.Tip again.
2.Build pen for new bunand move her outside. makes me sad. Move other rabbits into other pen (tho try and bond first.... I might get lucky)
3 Sort out shed space/conservatory. As in do more decluttering
4 Take bacon out of the freezer.
5 Cook the chicken
6. Possibly aim to do about 50% of the conservatory.
Monday
1. Tip again and go from there.

Glad that you were able to get a doctor’s appointment for your mum. Face to face appointments seem to be like gold dust, so great that you got one.
Also in denial about the new term starting! Have a lovely time having coffee with your friends.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.
