Thank you all XX
I think I have finally realised that I can't just do things anymore, I have too many regular things to fit in. Whereas I am happy to skip meals to declutter or work Mum isn't and so stopping everything three times a day (plus sorting pills etc) and subsequent clear ups of kitchen, just noraml life and chats take up a lot of time. And I enjoy the chats really, if I could magic the house tidy and functional we would have loads of time for chats.
Hmmm.
Today I finally cleaned out the animals! I also tidied up the front garden and cut the grass. Did my walk, even walked the dogs.
Not a bad day.
One of my friends said I should try and do one thing extra a day once I am back at work. So I will give that ago.

Maybe a little and often method might help? Something like FlyLady? I stopped doing it in full ages ago but do sometimes use it for reminders when things get out of hand.

I’m a fan of short bursts and also a fan of shorter lists too. As I’ve said before a list as long as the one you wrote at the beginning of the holidays would send me rocking in a cornered running out of the door. Imagine you are one of your pupils…..an achievable piece if work at a time…..be kind and gentle with yourself. You’ve achieved loads and looked after your mum 👍January spends - £587.581

And Milann you are right and like I say at work I can do things in blocks but here if you start something you have to finish it that day or you get moaned at. It gets wearing and also, there is no big "reveal" which is the only way you get any thanks. I really don't know why I bloody worry, she hasn't got half a clue what I have done and what I haven't done.
She doesn't really see anything.
Grrrrrr
I am annoying myself. I am sure with work smacking me in the face and a bit of balance of seeing my friends I won't be so hemmed in.
Going to do some work for a bit before my walk.

Just to finish August on a positive note.
At the start of the month I signed up for a 10,000 steps a day challenge and I am really proud to say I have done and I am even more chuffed to say I have raised money for charity as well. I can't believe I have done it! I know this won't be much to a lot of people on here but I never used to make more than 6-7000 steps in a day, maybe 9000 or 10 if I went out with my friends up town. I can't believe I have done consistently every day. I am really happy and so grateful for the support.
