Morning all,
In a fit of distraction I started to clean out the kitchen- removing all food/medicines and general crap. I am binning a lot. I know tins are ok for a bit but they are clearly food we just don't eat. There needs to be a top up shop but I am very lucky as I/we can afford it.
In the process I have stabbed myself in the finger with a needle and it really hurts. However we now have a sewing box, a first aid box (with bandages from the time of Noah but anyhow!) and enough chicken soup to last winter!
Mum is eating ok and is also distracting herself with tv. She is quiet. I am cleaning.

Buffy, I’ve just read your diary(IN FULL, as Martin Lewis would say!) and I, like many others on here, are in awe of all that you do.I know that many have said it, but I really don’t know how you do it, day after day. You’re blimin’ amazing! And so unacknowledged.
One thing puzzles me though - why do you have so much washing?

I had loads of plans to connect my cousin and send condolences at the start of the week, that didn't happen, my horrible long Monday was horrible. I was exhausted and Mum was annoying. Then Tuesday we got the phone call. Hottest week of the year (till next week) and the big O was on its way Wednesday and Thursday. I was horrified. Terrified. and just so lost. It was awful. The stress meant I couldn't think clearly. I did 3 covers on day one, then taught 4 lessons day two. no one came near me, but obviously the pressure didn't lift till about 4 yesterday. Mum doesn't really get what was going on so I didn't have prep time at home. The pressure was unreal. no release. My headache went pretty quickly yesterday. But my God it was a hard two days. Couldn't eat, couldn't sleep. Such an awful system.
Any how weekend, out to dinner tomorrow night, need to do some gardening, pre this week I made a lot of house progress. Would like maintain that.
Absolutely shattered. No clue what the money situation is. Probably should look.
