I can’t believe in this day and age there is still discrimination about pets. Time something was done about it. For goodness sake they’re not going to burn the house down!! There are far more humans damage property than pets 🤬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Have you found a car yet? I assume that's what the loan was for?

I do realise that once mum goes were ever she goes next I will lose the animals. I just don't like admitting it.

To be honest, I am not going to think about it for a while. When I thought about that plan, I was going to buy the house "now" and rent it out as security but that won't work as I can't get a buy to let mortgage. There are lots of possibilities, I think I shall just continue to save to put myself in the best position I can for whatever happens next with Mum.RosaBernicia said:Buffythedebtslayer said:Oh well it was nice to dream.

Has anyone watched Don't look up?
It is good, funny and entertaining (tho it does go on a bit)
And as I watch more, you could if you were so inclined see some parallels with covid, it is darkly funny.
Since lockdown I only seem to watch repeats. I don't have the concentration for new stuff. Watching this taking a lot of focus.Nevertheless she persisted.1 -
Ok, having watched all of it, it is a really good if odd, I read a bit about it and it could be a metaphor for climate change. Very clever I think.Nevertheless she persisted.1
