Morning all, a cloudy but quite bright morning today.  I managed to empty the wash bin over the weekend so at least no more washing for a few days!

Hope everyone had a good weekend.  We didn't really do much but I did go to M&S for a C&C bra order - I've finally found a bra that actually fits comfortably, although for the time being will either have to rely on DH to do it up or do it up at the front and swivel it round!  I ordered 2 different sizes in the same style as wasn't sure what the fit would be like so one of them now needs to be returned but won't be able to do that until at least Thursday as DH is playing golf today, tomorrow and Wednesday so has the car as his friend who usually gives him a lift is getting ready to go on holiday.

    Today's plan:

B - sheet pan baked oats, frozen cherries, frozen raspberries & grapes, yoghurt - HEB; P; S; F
    L - tomato and lentil soup from freezer - P; S; F
    D - Shepherds pie (using LO roast lamb); green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

Well done on losing a pound @klew and STS isn't to be sniffed at @ruby_eskimo. I was thrilled to get that! 😊

I need to do some shopping too @joedenise. I've been washing and wearing the same 3 pairs of leggings for 18 months so really need to replace them.

I did a freezer inventory over the weekend. I like to keep it up to date. I've no chilli left and just one Bolognese so I need to do some batch cooking. I did cook 4 portions of brown rice yesterday as I used up the last on Saturday evening.

    Today's EE plan-
    B- HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, banana (F), raspberries (S)
L- cold pork  (P), potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- baked cod (P), cubed potatoes (F), cauli, broccoli, garlic mushrooms with HEA2
    Syns- skinny syrup 0.5

You're really getting a taste for mint sauce @bubbs. Do you make your own? 🤔 I'm not a fan but I remember chopping the mint for my grandmother for Sunday lunch.

Morning all.  Needed to pop out and do a bit of shopping again this morning - run out of peppers and getting low on mushrooms both of which are needed for this weeks planned meals!

Take care TIE; hugs to you and your DH and hope his op goes well.  Will he be in for long?  Why is it that your tongue always heads for any sharp tooth but they always do?  Not surprised your tongue is sore!  Well done of the STS, definitely better than a gain!

Today's plan (which I had to rejig having run out of peppers!):

    B - Welsh rarebit - HEA2; HEB; P; F
    L - brunch hash topped with eggs - P; S; F; 2
    D - sausage and bean cassoulet - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2.  Nothing else planned but have syns to spare if I want anything.  Had a couple of squares of dark chocolate last night but still ended the day on 5!

    Have a good day everyone.

  • Hubby is home, took a couple of hours then had to sit around to be monitored. Lovely bruise 🥴
