Glad to hear you got a loss @bubbs
Try not to be disheartened @Betharooni and @Suffolksue you had a lucky escape! 🤣

Shame about Bletchley Park @bubbs but there'll be another chance I'm sure.

Glad you enjoyed the NTA @MrsRyan. Trainers with posh frocks is very on trend. I think you did well to get back to SW when you can rather than put it off until all the events were over.

Have a good evening @Gettingtherequickly. Wall to wall sports. 😁

I had lunch out too @joedenise. I went to Pret on the way to football and had a salad nicoise. It's 2.5 syns without the dressing (goodness knows how 🤔) but I had a drizzle of vinaigrette and a small bite of DH's Crunchie so I'm counting 5.

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), fried egg, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- salad nicoise (P, S)
    D- veggie chilli (P, S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
Syns - salad 2.5, dressing and Crunchie 2.5, weekend wine 😁

    Evening everyone
Been a long old day! Went to the rugby this afternoon. It’s my best friend’s birthday in a couple of weeks but she works very unsocial shifts so we met up today and I gave her her gifts.
Managed to use all my syns while I was out.. oops. I felt a little strange as I got off the train but tested my sugars and they were okay so I thought I would have some carbs as I hadn’t had any. Well the sushi did the trick but 8 Syns went with it! I think it was probably a bit less though as I didn’t have the sauce (which I do know is quite sugary) I popped into Iceland on the way home as I had no Syns left to have what I had planned. Picked up two packs of the Wild Garlic burgers which I love and were reduced. Made a lovely tea.

    Today’s food:
B: Blueberries and 0% natural Greek yoghurt.
Snack: Sushi (8) Peperami (4) Fridge Raiders (2.5) water
L: Chicken Caesar Salad (3) with 2 x boiled eggs and extra carrot, cucumber and tomatoes. Melon. NAS cream soda
T: 2 x SW Wild garlic burgers, jacket sweet potato, salad (1 syn for tomato ketchup) Easy peeler, yoghurt (1)
S: HEXB porridge with HEXA milk and strawberries
    Syns: 19.5

    Night all xx

I love the way you get straight back on plan @MrsRyan. I must try the wild garlic burgers. They sound good. 😋

It's hard to tell about the cheese sauce @bubbs. All the instructions say add milk so I'd say most of the syns are in the milk. Maybe add 7 syns to be safe but know you might be using less if you're making it with water or counting the milk as a HEA. 🤔

It doesn't say on the website that you have to use your HEA so I've always considered it to be including the milk so I syn it at 3.5 syns for my portion as DH and I have roughly half each - I certainly don't consider there's enough for 4 portions in a pack!

Morning all, weather looking a bit better this morning so have decided to get some washing done.  The forecast for the next week seems to have changed again - we were forecast showery and light rain all week and now it's showing as sunshine/cloudy so much better!

I tried the garlic burgers while we were away in the motorhome a while ago and found them to be quite dry, not moist like my usual burgers; also they weren't garlicy enough to my mind.  Think I'll stick with usual burgers and syn them at 0.5 (they are low fat butchers ones).  Talking of which that's we have for lunch today!

@Mrs_Ryan - how much sushi did you have?  8 syns seems quite a lot as most are less than 0.5 syn each; I often use to have one of the small SM packs on a Thursday after group as I was quite late getting home by the time I'd done my shopping; there were about 7 sushi and were 1.5 syns.  I just used to have them with a bit of soy sauce.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with bacon - P; S; F
    L - burger & onions in wholemeal bun - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - roast lamb dinner - P; S; F; 0.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - wholemeal bun
    Syns - burger 0.5; mint sauce 0.5

    Have a good day everyone.
