I’ve got a little book of bbqs but had it a couple of years. I’ve never made anything out of it.
We’ve had a couple of unplanned days out and I’ve made the best choices I could see but they weren’t particularly SW friendly I have walked a fair bit though. I’ll have some on plan days with low/no syns and up the exercise to see what I can recoup. One time I’d have said ‘s0d it’ and let the whole week go awry but I’ll see what I can do to rectify things 😏January spends - £587.580 -
I'm sure you're doing the right thing @milann. Consultants always say not to sabotage yourself just because you've had one meal or day or whatever off plan. Just get back on ASAP and move forward.
I'm likely to have a couple of off plan meals this week too. I often choose my food wisely but then there's the wine syns.😉
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), 2 fried eggs, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), spring onion, beetroot, cornichons (S)
D- JO slow roast pork (P), SW roast potatoes (F), carrots, swede, celeriac, red and green cabbage, cauli, broccoli (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4, weekend wine😊0 -
Hi everyone
With regards to the Sushi- I think a lot of the Syns came from the sauce which I didn’t have, but it did have crispy bacon bits with it which I did have. It was only four pieces but it was all the Co-op had, they didn’t have any of the mini ones and it was the lowest in carbs.Quiet lazy day today. Just making sure I’ve got everything ready for our hols tomorrow. I have packed my book and card and I’m going to WI at a local group to where we are staying. I usually WI on a Wednesday morning but I’ve managed to find a group that’s on a Tuesday morning so it’s near enough.I’m starting to see some NSV’s though- when I got dressed on Thursday the top I was wearing was very baggy. I haven’t had it long but when I bought it it wasn’t quite tight but it clung in a few places. Doesn’t cling now! The top I’m wearing today was very clingy all over and now it’s baggy at the bottom.
Today’s food:
B: Scrambled eggs and tomatoes on toast (HEXB plus 7)
L: 5% fat burgers (1) couscous (0.5) salad
T: Roast chicken, baby new potatoes, veg. LTL Mayo (0.5) Chocolate (4.5)
S: Crisps (6.5)

Morning all! Popping in quickly this morning - had a busy but productive weekend and managed to STS again this week (we may have gone to the pub garden again on Saturday so I had a few glasses of wine and DH got a sharing platter for the two of us which was huge!) Not getting too hung up on it, just moving forward.
Went for a run this morning and managed 2.5km before I had to stop running (there was an incident with a dog...) but walked the rest of the way home. Had yogurt, blueberries and a boiled egg for breakfast. Lunch is going to be some cottage cheese, seafood sticks and cucumber with a bit of avocado - it was an interesting take on a fake california roll with the rice replaced with the cottage cheese (which I was buying anyway). Will report back on what it's like. Dinner is goulash with rice.
Right off to get a coffee and then crack on with work.
