Have they given you any idea how long the latest problem will take to fix @beanielou? I understand that a hire car company only has a limited range of vehicles. I think pushing the garage to get the repair done ASAP is the best option. Easier said than done though.☹️
I think it is disgusting for anyone, but to leave someone that has a disability and a mobility car without a car 😡😡😡😡😡

Yum! I'm enjoying my virtual pudding.😋

I've been lucky as when DH had a bump in my car (not his fault as he stopped for a police car on blues and twos and the woman behind him didn't) I had a like for like replacement. I had a Quashkai (sp) instead of my VW Touran. It drove much the same but a much smaller boot and a weird automatic key. Fine while I had it but I wouldn't buy one.

The bonus of your DH driving most of the time  @joedenise
    is wine syns. 🤣

    I love the automatic key.
Had ones in the i.q.'s & the Audi A1.
    They are being phased out.

I should jolly well think you were demanding….that’s what your motability money that you are entitled to is paying for - a car you can drive. I’d definitely get in touch or at least threaten to contact your MP 😡😡😡

    Hiya everyone
blimey 39 posts since I last posted!
Sorry about the car Beanie. Hope it’s sorted soon.
I had a fantastic time at the NTA’s. It was amazing to be up close to the celebs and see them arrive.
It was also great to get properly dressed up again. It reminded me of the rugby awards nights of old that were black tie- although I had a slight shoe emergency (I put them on and they were very uncomfortable!) so I ended up putting my socks back on and wearing my trainers! Fortunately my dress was long and my trainers are plain white Reebok Classics- but they’re limited edition designer ones so there’s no markings on them. It actually went really well together.
It was an experience like I’ve never had before and probably never will again. It was just the best night!
Food wise? Well, er.. meh :D My breakfast was fine though! We ended up running short of time so by the time we got in I had to eat. I ended up with hot dog and chips but I only ate half as my sister managed to spill her wine all over it- did me a favour
I was literally sat in my seat in the arena trying to juggle my crutches, bag, food and water and trying to test my blood sugar! Was concerned as it was a bit high but took my tablet and had a little bit of food and later it had dropped and when I took it in the morning it was fine.
Lunch was quite carby though. My sister and I had lunch at the Alchemist and that was unreal- there was also a swing outside which the big kid that I am couldn’t resist having a quick go on :D:smiley:
I was back on plan 100% Friday (typing this in the early hours of Saturday so technically yesterday)
B: Protein pot (2 x boiled eggs and spinach) Fat Free Natural Greek yoghurt and blueberries. Decaf coffee with HEXA and water
    Snack: Sushi (4 Syns) water
L: SW carrot and red pepper soup, bread and small scraping of spread (7 syns)
T: Sea bass, baby new pots and salad (1.5 Syns for dressing) dark chocolate (4.5 Syns)
S: 3 Crackerbreads (3) with remainder of HEXA Laughing Cow and ham.
    Syns: 20

At the rugby today and then off on hols Monday! October equally as manic- away to Exeter then London for my birthday and then to Edinburgh at the end of the month!
    Night all xx
