OBL Bit late for today but in future for work would overnight oats or baked oats work for you? They are easy to make and transport well. I make my overnight oats in a screw top 1/2 litre Kilner jar. It's what I tend to have on WI day and take with me to group and eat after I've weighed.
It's definitely a bit cooler this morning but still quite warm. We're off for the weekend in a couple of hours time once we've finished packing the van and had breakfast.
Today's plan:
B - cheese on toast - HEA2; HEB; P; F
L - tuna salad - P; S; F
D - butter chicken & rice - P; S; F; 2
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - butter 2; weekend wine🍷🍷🍷
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all. Good to see you back milann. And OBL, I blame hospital toast for most of my weight gain - luckily I now work in a role that keeps me away from the wards a lot of the time so I'm not tempted by it as much! I used to take overnight oats or a yogurt, fruit and some of those Aldi benefit bars as my morning snack and then a jacket potato to re-heat in the microwave with some salad and beans for my lunch on a long day.
Had my first day back in the office yesterday and it completely wiped me out. Forgot how exhausting it can be when you're surrounded by people all day, especially ones you haven't seen face to face for 16 months and you all have a lot to catch up on. Felt quite safe, everyone was respecting the distancing rules in place and lots of hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes being used! Ended up having a pizza from the freezer for dinner because DH was out and I literally didn't have the energy for anything else (that's what anxiety can do to you I guess 🙃)
Today I went for another 5k walk before work and it was definitely a bit cooler. Might start actually running again on Monday because it's meant to be a lot cooler round here by then, we shall see. Had usual ff yogurt, granola and strawberries for breakfast. Lunch is going to be the last chicken salad prepped in the fridge and then dinner is macaroni cheese with bacon - DH keeps making me watch cooking videos on youtube that mention it a lot so I'm guessing he's trying to tell me something! Will serve with a big salad on the side and DH will probably have garlic bread with his.
Hope everyone has a good day and stays cool - I'll be working and watching the Olympics opening ceremony from the sofa later as it's so much cooler downstairs!Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171 -
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome back. I do usually get the Morrison’s bread and if I’m in Tesco, Nevilles. However the only bread they had at my local Morrison’s was the wholemeal granary…..the shelves were virtually bare. It was quite a nice change. I also bought a reduced Tiger loaf which is my absolute favourite 20p for a big loaf…..so my treat will be a slice toasted as long as it lasts 😄😄 the MSE in me wouldn’t let me pass it 😂😂
Today
breakfast - bacon, fried egg with fry lite, mushroom, tomato 1 slice of tiger toast with butter 9 syns…..( I know it’s a lot but my absolute fave 😄👍)
dinner - hea cheese, apple, cold meat and salad
tea - courgette, pepper, onion and something with minced pork with new potatoes
snacks - hifi bar 3 syns, strawberry, raspberry and natural yoghurt with a squirt of freedom choc sauce ( think it’s 1 syn…..need to check it out ) hard boiled egg
total syns 13 😄January spends - £587.580 -
Morning all,
Late on again, one of those weeks and it is really is TFI Friday, I usually enjoy my job and don’t feel that way but this week has been particularly testing unfortunately. Conflicting opinions re covid a big part.
Welcome back @milann, tiger is also my favourite
B - fruit and fibre ss milk
L – tuna pasta salad – first one this week
D – BP cheese beans pickles
Have a good weekend everyone

It is hard when you're torn between mse and SW milann, especially something as delicious as tiger bread! 😋 It's the same with emotional eating ruby. It happens, just hope it's not too often! You've done really well to stick with your healthy eating klew.
My DH loves macaroni cheese too but it's too sloppy for me so I don't make it for a family meal. He seems happy enough with the Aldi ready meal. I'm out dancing tomorrow evening so I'll make sure there's one in the freezer for him.
I did feel a bit hungry last night and had 2 Ryvitas with ham and tomato. Usually I'd go for something syn free but with weeks to go before WI I'm not that bothered although feeling a bit fat today. Maybe it's bloating from hot weather! 🤣
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- lentil soup (P,S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), TS broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms (S)
Syns- weekend wine😊2 -

Cooler here too bubbs. Much more bearable. We'll be back moaning soon enough. 🤣
I see you're still eating loads of salad meals. You seem to have been 100% back on plan since last Saturday.
Are you going to WI tomorrow? 🤔1 -
