Good morning all, super pooch and I slept like logs as it was much cooler last night. Lovely
currently sat at the garage whilst the car is being serviced. It was an early start so had a quick bowl of fruit and fibre. Looking to do a decent walk this afternoon then I have been invited to two bbqs this evening. I’m not going to drink but I will have to eat something yummy!0 -
Ps: didn’t bother getting on the scales. Still retaining fluid0

A bit cooler here too klew. Just out of curiosity, as I know you don't follow SW exactly, but which fruit and fibre do you have? Apparently the Kellogg's one isn't a HEB but there's a Weetabix one and heaps of own brand ones which are. 🤔 Enjoy your barbecues. There are usually salads and lean meats that should suit.
I'm out dancing this evening and driving myself so wine drinking will be curtailed.😁 We usually share a buffet supper but tonight everyone is taking their own food as still trying to be a bit Covid cautious.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, bacon, fried eggs (P), HEA milk
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), beetroot (S)
D- pasta salad (F,S), Aldi sausages, strawberries (S)
Syns- sausages 2, LTL mayo 1, wine tbc0 -
Hello all ( yes still here 🥴)
Can finally take a breath as schools finished! Did the residential & survived 🤗 food was fantastic, I ate too much toast which caught up with me 🚽 when we got back 🥴. They did provide GF but it was to hard to eat 🤣
Chaotic end to the year as we had no water so school closed 2 days early. Big emotional end too, both Y6 classes got to have their leavers party & assembly (to parents on field).
We also got to say goodbye to our Headteacher (made the local paper). Staff in school then parents/children after school. (Check out Cringleford primary website for a glimps of me & other staff singing 🥴). My 1-1 is going to high school, going to miss such a sassy, resilient young lady 🥺). Moving to Y5 now.Hubby is waiting (lots of that 😤) to have fistula fitted so can have dialysis. Still sleeps a lot, still losing weight! Ok in himself most of the time.
Sorry for long post, ends with I have slipped back into lower stone so target in view with 👀 rather than 🔭 🤣
Ps hope Denise has recovered from fall & everyone is plodding on! Have a good weekend all 🥰Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Hello everyone. I'm back on the SW wagon so I'll join in if I may thanks to an invitation from @beanielou
I've done SW in the past and I always feel healthier when I'm eating and cooking properly. I did go to a few classes in May to keep a friend company but I get stressed about having to be weighed and once I get stressed the emotional eating makes an appearance. This way I can weigh myself and hopefully that will work.
On the plus side I still have the latest books from that visit and my sister who lives in Ireland is also following SW just now. We tend to do better when we encourage each other and swap recipes and tips.
Todays food while I remember
B: melon, strawberries, pineapple
L : sliced beef sandwich (HxB), side salad and potato sticks (6 syns)
D : sausages (3), dry fried egg, tomatoes and mushrooms
Snacks : Ginger biscuit (2.5), Pink n white (2.5), hard boiled egg
Total 14 syns - I'm breaking myself in gently. The tomatoes were from the garden which I'm happy about.
Thanks to the encouragement of @joedenise I've just made overnight oats for tomorrows breakfast. I'm also going to make the liver and bacon pate that @bubbs made because eating it on slices of cucumber is a genius idea!2 -
Good to see you Cranky 👍
Take it Easy - if it’s anything like the school I worked in everywhere you turn at the end of term there are treats of cakes and chocolate. I’ve missed saying bye to the girls I’ve worked 1-1 with they move on this year. I’m torn about popping in as they don’t break up until Tuesday but there’s been a lot of covid around so I’m not sure. It’s so emotional when they go.
today I’ve eaten
breakfast - beans, hea cheese and bacon with tiger bread toast 9 syns ( the loaf has nearly been eaten now 😂👍)
dinner - tuna, low fat salad cream 1 syn, tomato, celery, spring onion and lettuce heb bread 1 syn low fat spread
tea - rice, chicken in garlic, turmeric and garlic with courgettes, peppers and onions. Strawberries, raspberries and ff yoghurt
snacks - biscuit 21/2 syns, satsuma, apple
Total syns 13 1/2 😄
I had a squirt of cream on my strawberries so that took me to 15 👍😃January spends - £587.581 -
Hi everyone,
I'm still reading along and cheering you guys on with your SW journeys. I've been for a 3k run this morning - first time running in a month, and was pleasantly surprised with both the time and my fitness level. I will try for 5k this week and see how that feels.
In food news, I have had a good (late) breakfast of grilled lean bacon, 2 poached eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes. I have a gammon joint in the fridge, so that will be dinner - just need to figure out what to have with it (salad or veg).
Got some plums and cherries at A!di the other day, so hoping they will be good to eat today. Will also have my usual apple.
Will prepare overnight oats for tomorrow morning's breakfast, and need to meal plan for this week too.
Hope you all have a lovely day,

Welcome @CRANKY40 As you're not going to a group, do ask if you need any syn values or anything else we can help with. A number of us have access to syns online.
I did have a nightcap when I got in last night. I was feeling so exhilarated after a night's dancing to live music for the first time since pre Covid. Not too much though and with my low syn (2) dinner, it was a better SW day than most Saturdays.
I did veggie chilli in the SC yesterday, portioned it up for the freezer this morning and kept some out for my lunch.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), 2 fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F), veggie chilli (P,S), cottage cheese (P)., beetroot (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), many veg (S)
Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine😊0 -
Afternoon all. Just back from our weekend away and had a great time but lost count of syns on Friday so will need to keep low syn for the rest of the week as planning on going to WI on Friday this week. Have DD2, her partner and our grandson down for BBQ ribs next Sunday so it's going to be a fairly high syn start to the week!
My shoulder is still very painful and still can't lift it above shoulder height without really bad pain and pain killers just aren't touching it. DH has been doing most things while we've been away so I've been able to rest it.
Back on plan properly today:
B - fry up with low fat sausages - P; S; F; 2LTL mayo instead of butter)
D - chicken curry & rice - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; LTL mayo 1 (instead of butter)
