Good morning all,
Was back yesterday but work was so manic I didn’t get time to log here. Had a nice long weekend, plenty walking, a few drinks and some naughty food but hopefully cancelled out with all the exercise. I think we walked like 23 miles across Friday/Saturday/Sunday and I span on Monday night. We went to a Chinese restaurant on Saturday night, I skipped the starter and just had a main course of sizzling chicken with garlic, spring onion and ginger. My usual choices would have been far worse! There was a MacDonald’s visit too as we couldn’t get into any of the restaurants. But we move!
Slow cooked gammon on Monday so using up the last of that this week.
B – fruit and fibre ss milk
L – gammon and egg salad
D – birdseye chicken grills/or gammon, mash, peas and sweetcorn
Hope you are all well!

Morning, bright and sunny but a bit of a cold nip in the air here this morning. Hope your BIL is OK Bubbs.
A bit of drama here last night, DS did a lateral test as he had a sore head all day and it was positive so PCR booked for this morning. My test was negative, so far .....
Today's plan -
B - f/f Greek yog, raspberries and nectarines
L - baked potato, tuna, huge salad
D - last night's dinner of gammon and veggie hash as ended up with beans on toast for ease
Have a good day all.

Morning all. Hope your BIL is doing better @bubbs, and good luck with the injections. Fingers crossed you all have a minor case of the 'vid if it comes back positive @Jellybaby.
On day 2 of a pretty epic migraine over one eye so trying to take it easy and keep up the fluids, must have had about 5litres of water yesterday! Breakfast of ff yogurt, granola and blueberries is currently being consumed as I sit at my desk and lunch will be more lentil soup, followed by chickpea curry for dinner.
Right, back to work, hope you all have a good day.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171 -
Morning all. Glad you had a good weekend @klew356; wow that's lots of walking over the 3 days! Don't think I could manage that much. We went for a walk yesterday afternoon along the seafront and it was so blowy! Only did a couple of miles though - that was enough particularly with the wind in my face on the way back!
Hope your DS's PCR comes back negative @Jellybaby and glad yours was negative anyway.
DH has gone off to golf with his friend this morning, only day he's playing this week. He's got a couple of games booked in for next week.
Final load of washing to clear the wash bin in the machine now. It's still a bit grey but not as blowy as yesterday but I'm sure the washing will dry OK on the line.
Today's plan:
B - New York Bakery seeded bagel with Primula Light & avocado - HEB; HEA2; 7.5😲 (I weighed it as didn't think it was an averaged sized one but apparently it was - I thought it was quite a small one!)
L - LO Irish Hotpot
D - roast pork, roast potatoes, roasted veg, green veg - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - Primula Light
HEB - bagel (won't bother with these again - they're tiny!)
Syns - half avocado 7.5
Have a good day everyone.2 -
You can definitely do it maman 👍
I lost 1 1/2 lb this week- not quite the 2 1/2 I put on last week though but my guestimating must have been ok……need to repeat it again though and not go back to yo-yoing which is my usual habit.I won the raffle again….a little plaque to record my losses and a load of fruit and veg snacks 😁January spends - £587.581 -
Hope the tests come back negative Jellybaby.
Denise what’s LO Irish Hotpot….I know what the hotpot is but trying to figure out the LO😏🤔🤔January spends - £587.581 -
Well done @milann, great to have a loss. You obviously guestimate very well! 😊 I'm surprised you didn't recognise Los. I live on them! 🤣 I'm at home most days for lunch so deliberately cook extra veg for a Speed packed meal the next day.
Hope that migraine clears up soon @ruby_eskimo. I suppose with the huge numbers of new Covid cases every day we're bound to hear of someone who gets it. Fingers crossed if it's a true positive that symptoms are light @Jellybaby. Do keep us up to speed on how the BIL is doing @bubbs.
Great respect for all that walking @klew and then the energy to go to a spin class the next day! You must be super fit😊
Dull but dry here today too @joedenise.
I've only planned 1 syn today so easy to stick with the plan. It's the weekend that will be hardest, keeping the wine syns under control. I was right on the top of target range when I weighed last so no leeway for any sort of gain. It's not the end of the world if I have to pay but I am going to try my best. I like a challenge. 😉
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- ham (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- chicken casserole (P,F,S) with green veg (S)
Syns- cornflour 11
