Afternoon all. We decided to come home today as everything in the fridge was getting a bit warm - DH can't stand warm beer, LOL!
Good to know your Chinese was well within syns as being less than average. Eating out can be very syn heavy! Ate out again yesterday lunchtime and had planned on having the duck breast but they didn't have any duck so ended up having belly of pork so another high syn lunch. Also had salt and pepper squid to start with a bit of salad. Need to check syns for that as forgotten to put in on the planner. Overall I'm only just over syns for the first 3 days of the week as only 2 syns today and not planning on drinking today. Didn't have the planned evening meal as was still full up from lunch so we'll be having that tonight instead. I just had a couple of crackers with Primula Light.
Today's plan:
B - fry up - sausages; egg; mushrooms, tomato, beans - P; S; F; 2
L - Welsh rarebit - cheese, Worcester sauce, egg, mustard powder, onion granules, garlic powder - HEA2; HEB; P; F
D - jerk beef stew, rice n peas - P; S; F
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2
Hope you've all had a good weekend.

Hope you got what you needed from the Apple shop before being forced back home by warm beer @joedenise!🤣
It's hard to know how accurate your syn estimates are @milann. As it was an impromptu barbecue then you just had to go with the flow. Generally speaking, barbecues can be quite SW friendly with lean meats and salads.
I've just finished a late lunch after being out all morning. I made a sort of hash with some LO cauliflower from last night along with other bits from the fridge. Except for the veg, dinner is all sorted so not much left to do today.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S)
L- ham (P) veggie hash, beetroot and cornichons (S)
D- beef in 'red wine' (P,S), SW roast potatoes (F), many veg (S)
Sys- skinny syrup 0.5, cornflour 1, weekend wine😉

Yes maman I did manage to get the charging cable I needed - couldn't believe they wanted £25 for a piece of wire with a connector each end but that's Apple I suppose. I don't like the new iPad I've just bought so I've given it to DH and I'm going to use his old one - must be about 5 or 6 years old but I find it easier to use than the new one so DH is happy too. It's what usually happens whenever we get new tech - it takes me ages to get used to something then we get another one and it's different so I keep the old one and DH has the new one. I've never had a new phone - it's always DH's cast offs!
I couldn't find the syns for the tempura salt and pepper squid rings so have gone with the syns for onion rings after all it's only the batter that needs to be synned with both as the inner part if Free. Going with that still leaves me with about 11 syns a day so far more than I'm likely to need so no doubt I'll end up eating chocolate some days - still nothing wrong with that!

You need to be aware of the different tonics. Schweppes slimline is syn free but some places only serve the 'naturally light' Fever Tree.☹️ That's 1.5 syns for a 200 ml bottle but strangely 2 syns for a 200ml can. 🤔I also looked up the difference in calories and fat between the Danish Blue cheese, which is the only proper blue cheese classed as a HEA, and the dolcelette which I currently have. There is not a lot between them. I will ask my Group Leader about this on Tuesday. 🤔
Today was better - I had a nice big Sunday brunch - 200ml Oatly for coffees (half of HEA1), plus two Linda McCartney Red Onion and Rosemary sausages, low fat spray, baked beans, tomato, poached egg - all free. I also had a slice of wholemeal toast (HEB), teaspoon of Pure sunflower spread (1and half syn), one tbsp HP reduced sugar and salt brown sauce (half syn), and two Richmond meat free bacon rashers (one and a half syns). I must say I was underwhelmed with the rashers - first time I have bought these - will finish them off and try another brand.I've also got fruit to eat and I'm cooking SW free Chickpea and Mushroom Curry with broccoli for tonight. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

You're doing really well @Seasidegal58. Sadly, the Villa Maria is 13.5% so 11.5 syns for a large 250ml glass.
I don't want to get you into bad habits but most of us do tweak the plan a bit so averaging out syns across the week can work but it's not official SW policy. 😉
Pleased you got your iPad lead @joedenise but, as you say, what a price for a piece of wire!!☹️2 -

Don't know if any of you like English Muffins but if you do the Tesco Wholemeal ones are now HEB - saw it in the magazine which I bought on Friday to have something to read while we were away. There were a couple of other new ones too: 35g Nurishh Cheddar and Mozzarella Style Blend (a plant based cheese) and 40g of Kelloggs Special K Protein Nuts, Clusters & Seeds. Nice to have a few new ones.
@Seasidegal58 - like @Maman says you can try averaging over the week if it works for you but definitely not the SW way but it works for me and others! I don't think your Consultant will be able to give you any explanation as to why Danish Blue is the only HEA of the blue cheeses even though calories, fat levels etc are very similar with dolcelette but it would be good if she can come up with a good reason!
I really need to do a freezer inventory as it's nearly time to make a start on next month's menu plan! Will definitely be making some more of the jerk beef stew - tonight's dinner was amazing. I'd forgotten how nice it was.
Forgot I'd bought quite a bit of veg before we went away which I was going to chop and bag up as stew packs but didn't have time to do it so have done it this afternoon and was surprised to get 5 good sized bags so can make plenty of stews using different meats.
Need to do a bit of shopping tomorrow as will be using the last of the eggs for breakfast in the morning and don't like to be without as they are some versatile. Also going to need more chicken thighs as I used the last ones in the freezer for KFC before we went away.
