Hi there - please can I join the thread? I have a helluva lot to lose and it will probably take me well into spring to lose it all if all goes well. I joined our local SW group on Tuesday and really enjoyed the class - the result of the initial weigh in not so much!😱
I tried to go vegan about two years ago for general health but since that time I have loosened up - I'm afraid I can't give up my real cheese and also eggs as I love omelettes. When I eat out I also go off piste a bit here, but apart from the cheese and eggs, try and keep up the good work at home. So I suppose I'm more of a vegetarian now!I actually started the plan on Wednesday - I made the SW quick tomato sauce with pasta which did me for two days, two meals per day I don't eat breakfast any more), plus fruit, Oatly for coffee, broccoli and a bit of the lovely cheese to top the pasta.Today I had to go to London for a late lunchtime appointment - had a small flat white with oat milk and I'm afraid a small piece of carrot cake as the cafe I was waiting in only sold cakes! I'm not sure how many syns in the cake so have given it the full 15! This evening I've had beans on one slice whole meal toast spread with marmite and the last of my salad remnants, plus apple and satsumas. My Waitrose delivery was due hours ago but they're having delivery probs so I'm still waiting! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Hi seasidegal and welcome.
Is there a reason you don't eat breakfast? you should really even if only some fruit.
Don't forget 1/3 of your plate at least should be speed foods, you need to make sure you eat enough and drink plenty of fluids.
Any questions on anything you are not sure about ask as someone is likely to know the answer

Hi @bubbs and @beanielou - thank you for the welcome!😃
bubbs - I've never been able to eat breakfast when I get up in the morning - it makes me nauseous - left over from my pregnancy morning sickness years and years ago! I've recently retired and when I worked I used to get up for the commute very early so I would have breakfast in the office around 9.30am. Weekends I would have breakfast late in the morning. Since retiring I get up a bit later so don't feel like it till near lunchtime so I have a brunch lunch instead.I am good at drinking my water though - and today was a bit of an anomaly due to being out most of the day. I was hoping to buy a more healthy lunch today but unfortunately it was a cake only cafe!
Tomorrow will be a proper SW planning day! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
