Hi @bubbs and @beanielou - thank you for the welcome!😃

bubbs - I've never been able to eat breakfast when I get up in the morning - it makes me nauseous - left over from my pregnancy morning sickness years and years ago!  I've recently retired and when I worked I used to get up for the commute very early so I would have breakfast in the office around 9.30am. Weekends I would have breakfast late in the morning.  Since retiring I get up a bit later so don't feel like it till near lunchtime so I have a brunch lunch instead.

I am good at drinking my water though - and today was a bit of an anomaly due to being out most of the day. I was hoping to buy a more healthy lunch today but unfortunately it was a cake only cafe!

Tomorrow will be a proper SW planning day!

Well brunch is good, i often have a big fry up brunch 🤣🤣

    Hope you are enjoying retirement?

Sorry but i have got to go bed can't keep my eyes open

Internet is a bit hit and miss where I am, but seems OK at the moment although a bit slow.

Good to see you came over to join us @Seasidegal58.

WI didn’t go well - put on a lb and I’m out of target range so will have to go again next week, also need to be good this week.  Think I will have to make sure I use all my syns this week - only used about 80 last week.

We ate out at lunchtime so definitely used more than a day’s syns.  We’re going to have to eat out all weekend at lunchtime as the fridge has broken down.  Glad our evening meals were frozen so should be ok for those as they’ll slowly defrost and keep the fridge cold.

Off to bed shortly.  Good night.

I absolutely love retirement @bubbs - can highly recommend it!💕

I'm still waiting for this pesky Waitrose delivery!  I'll be going to bed myself if it doesn't arrive soon!🤬

Shame about the gain @joedenise. ☹️ I'm sure you'll sort it out, hopefully this week. It's got much colder here this evening so should help with the broken fridge in the motor home.

Welcome @Seasidegal58. It's not a problem about the breakfast provided you don't get hungry late morning and eat the wrong things. We all have to prioritise what we have as our syns and if your favourite is cheese then that's fine but not carrot cake as well! 🤣

I hope your online delivery arrives soon. Hopefully you've ordered SW friendly stuff. 🤔 If you have time, do post your menus day to day then we can point out any slips until you get used to the healthy eating plan.

    🤞for tomorrow @bubbs

    Hi all 👋🏻 Welcome @Seasidegal58 👊🏼

WI with another half on 😮‍💨 (is that a sigh emoji?)
Been another eventful week with Kidney transplant centre trip (all good for hubby if he can lose a bit more weight) & I had another tattoo 🥴. I know I said never again after fainting each time but I was uneven 🤣 AND I didn’t faint or even feel anxious despite the numb cream not working 🥴🤣🤣. (Rescue Remedy is the best 🤗)
I am actually more anxious about going back to work than I was for the tat 🤪.

Hope the weather stays ok for shorts as don’t want to cover the ink as is ‘healing’ plus I want to show it off 🤪.

Have a good weekend all 🤗
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

Just thinking about a tattoo makes me shudder @TakeItEazy. I'm such a wimp, I don't even have pierced ears. Glad that you're pleased with it though.  Do you know why you put that half pound on? Could it be grabbing food on the go with the hospital visits?

I'm planning to do a bit of prepping while I listen to my team on the radio this afternoon. I'm busy tomorrow so I'm making a casserole that I can just reheat in the evening.

I had an extra syn last night😮. I bought some Aldi sausages for the freezer and decided to cook two spare ones. 😋

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA1 milk, fried eggs (P), mushrooms and tomatoes (S)
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), beetroot and spring onion (S)
D- gammon steak (P), SW chips (F), cauliflower and broccoli cheese with HEA2, mushroom and tomato (S)
    Syns- cornflour 1, weekend wine😁

    Thanks for the welcome @joedenise  @maman and @TakeItEazy 😃

Maman - the driver finally rang me last night and said he couldn't deliver - he was covering his own deliveries as well as for the two other vans in our area. He sounded so tired - I told him to go home and go to bed!  He said they would redeliver tomorrow so I finally received the delivery half an hour ago!

My delivery is very SW friendly - lots of fresh fruit and veg, Quorn bits, tins of different types of beans, eggs,  etc - no crisps, biscuits, cakes, sweets etc in the house apart from a bar of Green & Black's chocolate that I'm going to dole out to myself over the week as a sweet treat.  I'd ordered a pack of two baking potatoes on special offer - they didn't have them so sent me four at the same price!👍

Tonight I am at a concert - I've ordered a gin and slimline tonic for the interval and  will have the same in the bar when we get there. So that will be 8 syns in all I believe?

Today brunch breakfast was porridge oats (F HE2), coffees, my daily allowance of Oatly (HEA1), Apple (S) and large satsuma (S).

Later on before I go out I'm having a large baked potato, low sugar baked beans (F) measured blue cheese on top (HEA2) a large salad - spinach, tomatoes, celery, yellow pepper, picked beetroot (all S) ( I love pickled beetroot!) and fat free vinaigrette.

Looking at the above, under SW ruling I can see that I am rather deficient in protein although the beans, Oatly and cheese do contain some.  The late delivery has rather messed up my plans for today as I was going to have eggs for brunch.

You're right about the protein @Seasidegal58 but you've done your best using what you had in before the delivery. I'm sure it will balance out across the week.

You need to be aware of the different tonics. Schweppes slimline is syn free but some places only serve the 'naturally light' Fever Tree.☹️ That's 1.5 syns for a 200 ml bottle but strangely 2 syns for a 200ml can. 🤔

Well done on getting a loss @bubbs. It's working again for you.👍

Thanks @maman - I've just had a look at my ordered drink - it's a Gordon's gin and Schweppes slimline tonic in a can - SW app is telling me it's 4 syns. Not sure what will be available at the bar yet.
