Ds bought us an all singing and dancing electric computerised steamer that we never use……I have an actifry which gets used a lot, an ice cream maker that need to have the bowl frozen - there’s not often room in the freezer to do this. I use my slow cooker a fair bit over the winter, dd bought me a bread maker I’ve not used for a long time, a popcorn maker that get used occasionally, coffee machine that I never use and I use my magimix a fair bit too. We had a kitchen extension a few years back and our Christmas presents form the kids were kitchen gadgets…..I feel I can’t get rid of them as they were expensive and bought as presents……I’ve probably got a few more tucked away that I’ve forgotten about.
The only things out on the worktop are the actifry, magimix, toaster, kettle and slow cooker in various corners so that it doesn’t look cluttered.
Today after group has been totally on plan.Dinner - jacket potato with hea cheese and beans and salad.
tea - spag Bol with 1/3 speed (maybe more) and 5% minced beef. teaspoon of Parmesan which were the only syns I’ve had.
snacks - plums, satsuma and a pearJanuary spends - £587.580 -
Morning all,
Unused gadget is a waffle maker, its in the shed, you never know when I might want to use that haha. Even my kettle is packed into a kitchen cupboard, I don’t drink tea or coffee so it is lucky if it is used once a week. So if I do use it, I clean it dried it out and put it away again!
I feel like I have done quite well this week but we shall see, especially with body magic
I am off tomorrow until Tuesday, tonight no spinning (body is pleased) but will get the steps in and blitzed the house.
I’m going to a Chinese restaurant on Saturday night but that can be my treat night, one friend is pregnant so she is DES so I will be enjoying a few drinks
B fruit and fibre ss milk
L – pot pasta or pot noodle (a tuna salad if I have time to make it)
D – chicken of some sort, mash, carrots and peas

A kettle has to be my no 1 gadget klew, I drink a lot of tea every day! Uses all of 1 HEA. A kettle is definitely one thing I would replace immediately.
Weather is horrible this morning, it feels damp but not actually raining. Thankfully I don’t have any washing which needs doing but again there will be plenty after the weekend away! Planning on sorting out the food for the weekend and check we don’t need any more clothes - think there’s enough for 3 nights already in there.
Today’s plan:
B - scrambled eggs, beans and mushrooms- P, S, F
L - bacon and mushroom sandwich- P, S, HEB, 3.5
D - Fakeaway KFC, chips, corn on the cob, beans - P; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - butter 4.5 (3.5 lunch, 1 on corn)
Have a good day everyone.

Afternoon all, late in today as work is pretty full on. I've got quite a few gadgets, all received as gifts, and I don't feel bad about not using them! Soup maker anyone? Think I need to find family and friends who buy gin or wine as presents
I've really upped my water this week but feeling really bloated today. Hopefully it goes before weigh in on Saturday morning.
Had toast and jam for breakfast, ham salad for lunch and it will be steak, h/m sweet potato chips, tomatoes, onions and mushrooms for dinner.0 -

Do you not have hot drinks at all @klew? My DD1 used to be like that but she would have hot chocolate when it was very cold. Enjoy your time off and 🤞🏼you see a loss this week. @bubbs has Chinese meals are lowest in syns (and calories) so you needn't do too much damage on your night out if you choose well.
My DH was beaming when I gave him sausage, chips and beans for dinner last night. He's always very appreciative but obviously easily pleased! 🤣 I enjoyed it too so we'll definitely have that again soon. I bought a bag of YS stir fry veg yesterday. Usually I make up my own from what I have in the fridge but this was so cheap (23p) it would have been rude not to buy it. There's enough for lunch tomorrow as well.
Another glorious day here. It was a bit slow to brighten up this morning but it's been lovely since about 10 o'clock. We had an hour's brisk walk in the sunshine this morning.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, strawberries (S)
L- veggie stir fry (S) with noodles (F)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- skinny syrup 0.5, chilli sauce 11 -
Hasn't brightened up at all here! It's fairly warm but still overcast. Not sure washing would have dried bubbs as a definite damp feel in the air.
Had to pop out to buy some potatoes this afternoon as realised I didn't have any decent sized ones to make chips tonight!
Have as much as I can in the motorhome but still the last minute stuff to go in like bread, butter, milk, crackers etc but won't take long to pack it all. I've got a list so we don't forget anything plus a copy of the menu plan, although doubt we'll stick to it with being out and about - I'm sure some eating out will happen but will try and choose wisely!
