klew I do hope you are not really intending to use mice🤣🤣🤣! Some mistypes can really make me laugh!
Have you tried making your own popcorn? It's so easy to do in the microwave just using the normal popping corn that you can buy really cheaply in the SM. I used 50g of popping corn, just put in a paper bag and then microwave until it stops popping - for 50g it took about 45 secs. I usually only do 25g but DH wanted some too this time. 25g takes about 30 secs.
Once done pour it quickly into a basin; spray with Frylight and then sprinkle with whatever flavouring you want. I used table salt and sweetener to get sweet & salty which is really nice, although it does lose it's flavour quite quickly. Only had 5g each yesterday so still plenty left (5g is only 1 syn; 25g is 4.5 syns).

Good idea to use less mice and more veg @klew! 🤣
Seriously though it's not only a good decision for calories but money wise and environmentally too. I've been really going to town on that with all meals but especially Bolognese and chilli. I'm sure it's the stock, herbs and spices that make up most of the taste anyway.
I noticed you synned your skinny syrup @Jellybaby. I've always counted mine as free. I know it's not the actual Skinny brand, just one I picked up from TKMaxx. I don't know the brand as I've decanted it into a squeezy bottle. I've decided this will be my last bottle anyway as now I've got to like fruit on my porridge. I'm another that envies you the massage.😊
It's glorious weather here today. I'm definitely going to get out for a bit of a walk either with DH or a group I know that meets on a Tuesday.
Despite the sun, I'm having soup today. I want to create some freezer space so that when I get to go to the Company Shop I can buy fresh stuff if it's available. Fortunately it's only a couple of miles away so easy enough to drop in.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- lentil and veg soup (P,S)
D- savoury mince (P,S). new potatoes (F), carrots, cauli, broccoli, cabbage, green beans (S)

Forgot to mention the other day but my SC has died! I cooked the gammon, carrots & potatoes for 10 hours and the meat was cooked but didn't fall off the bone like it should, the potatoes were still hard (but reboiled them the next day and used in the breakfast hash!); carrots were the only thing that seemed to be cooked properly and I think that was only because DH had cut them quite thinly!
Trying to decide whether to buy another one or just make do with cooking stuff either in the pressure cooker or in a casserole dish in a low oven. Decisions, decisions🤔.

Chinese was yum on Saturday! Been so long since I had one, thoroughly enjoyed it. Had chicken & sweetcorn soup to start and then had chicken with mushrooms & broccoli. However, did have some ice cream later in the day when we stopped to have a coffee
But hey, don't do it regularly, so not going to feel guilty. My aunt love going to charity shops, so we had to do them all! She was happy as had been looking a a small brooch and picked up a really lovely hand made one, tiny little cross stitch which looked as it had replaced something else. I picked up a Cath Kidston bag (book bag type) for £13 and oddly, been looking for a 1 cup tea pot and got one for £1
Going away to Wiltshire on Thursday for the weekend, no idea where as my friend has booked, so not sure what is going to be happening SW wise, can only do my best, enjoy and if there is a gain, deal with it when I get back. Really need to look at what we can do/see while there. I do know it is not that far from Bath, so that will be an option.A smile costs little but creates much2 -

I don't use my SC very often either. I doubt I'll replace it to be honest. The only thing I'd miss it for is doing the braised red cabbage but don't do that very often anyway so could easily do it in a casserole dish in the oven on low.
Enjoy your break in Wilts GTQ. DH has just suggested we go away in the motorhome for the weekend. Going to check my weight first thing Friday morning and as long as my scales say I'm in target then I'll go to WI, otherwise I'll leave it another week! I checked this morning and I haven't lost anything so still about half pound outside top end! Just doesn't make sense as I'm definitely well within syns. Went over syns one day at the weekend by a couple but been less than 5 most days. Will just have to see where I am in a few days time.

Had the family staying for best part of a week so not had chance to get on here. Just had a catch up - Well Done Bubbs on the 2lb loss 👏👏👏👏
Im afraid I’ve not even given SW a thought and will regret it tomorrow at weigh in after a week away from group last week. But it’ll be what it’ll be - I had a lovely time with the gks. I intend to get straight back on it tomorrow…..or even this evening 👍January spends - £587.580 -
milann definitely don't let SW get in the way of life. Life is still for living and making memories with the gks is so important. glad you've had a lovely time.
Just get straight back on it and any gain will soon come off.
