Morning all, sky is very grey again and the forecast isn't brilliant either but no matter we'll still get away for a few days.
Have decided I will be go WI this morning. Think I'm probably right at top end of target but if I'm over then I'll just have to go again next week! I'm not staying this week so that we can get away at a reasonable time and actually spend some time in the City having a wander around. I need to go to the computer shop as want to get a new charging lead for my iPad as it's a completely different lead to anything else, including DH's IPad! We like to keep spare chargers in the motorhome to save having to take them in and out of the house! No idea how much it will be but don't expect it to be particularly cheap being an Apple product!
Today's plan:
B - nothing before WI but will have some strawberries after plus a few raspberries from the garden - S
L - creamy garlic mushrooms, fried up potatoes - part HEA2; S; F
D - sausage, mash & cabbage - S; F; 2
S - crackers and Primula Light - HEB; part HEA2
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - Primula Light
HEB - crackers
Syns - probably a couple of rum & ginger beers
Not sure how often, if at all, I'll get online over the weekend as where we're going doesn't have a good signal!
Have a good day everyone.1 -
Morning, @joedenise have a lovely time away. Dull and grey here but expected to brighten up by lunch time. I'm out and about today for work so really looking forward to the change! I also agreed to meet up with my friend at lunch time in a local garden centre as it's close to where my meeting is.
B - ff Greek yoghurt, mango
L - thinking soup or baked potato - no cake!
D - savoury mince with onions, carrots and peas, potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower
Have a good day all!1 -
Morning all. Hope you have a nice break @joedenise, fingers crossed the ipad cable isn't too expensive!
Joining in the kitchen gadget talk, we have a kettle, toaster, nespresso machine and kmix stand mixer on the worktop at all times and then I have a soup maker, slow cooker and kenwood blender / food processor and that's it. People often ask where our microwave is but we've never had one - didn't have space for one in our flat's tiny kitchen and therefore have just got on without one so no need to get one when we moved in to the house.
Had a busy day in the office yesterday so no workout but went for a gentle 2.5k run this morning and then walked the rest of the way. Might swap my runs back to the afternoon now that it's getting darker, although will miss the lovely sunrises I've seen over the past couple of weeks. Had the usual ff yogurt, blueberries and granola for breakfast, will be the last of the tuna salads for lunch and dinner is another Korean dish, Tteokbokki or rice cake stew; basically rice cakes made out of rice flour (a bit like gnocchi) in a spicy broth with some Korean fish cakes and vegetables. No idea on syns for the whole thing but not too worried really because I know it's relatively low calorie anyway.
No real plans for the weekend but will probably see some friends for a couple of drinks at some point.
