I’ve had a couple of rubbish days off plan for no apparent reason other than I’ve just felt a tad stressed about an ongoing situation that just isn’t moving very fast to it’s conclusion…..so I’ve been comfort eating. Line drawn and time to get back on plan. Good job I’ve booked a weeks holiday this week from group - time to do some damage limitation 😵‍💫…..again 😳

Morning all.  Had a long weekend off from work and only now getting back into the swing of things.

Glad you had a nice anniversary @maman .  In answer to your question way back in the thread, I started loving Korean food after I went there in 2019.  My friend who's now moved over here kept up the love after she cooked me something new to try every time I saw here before lockdown last year and then because of lockdown I started looking at making some of the dishes myself.  I adjust some of the recipes to make them more SW friendly but others I just go all out because it's not like I really eat a lot of syns on a day to day basis anyway.

Fingers crossed the SAS logs help @bubbs, as maman said, we're all stumped as to why you aren't losing!

Sounds like you had a lovely time with your sister @joedenise I'm sure the extra wine is perfectly fine!

Lost 2.2lbs this week which is the water weight I put on from the weekend before.  Had usual breakfast of ff yogurt with some blueberries this morning, lunch is going to be roasted tomatoes on toast with some light cream cheese, and then dinner is just a jacket potato with some tuna and salad probably.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

@maman I've only had them once before and grilled them.  I liked them as they were slightly drier than I expected. I'm not a lover of what I call wet food, possibly that's just juicy to everyone else!   Think I'll do them in the oven this time as it will be on for the chips oooh and I could do roasted veg instead of salad
  • Hi all

Hugs Bubbs, think you feel the need!  Hope everyone else enjoyed all the extra activities they had.

Was home for the weekend, all the paperwork that needs to be completed before flying and all I had to do was show my vacc cert in Ireland, what a waste of time & energy! Was good to see everyone and luckily managed to meet the newest member of the family. She is 9 months so that age when they don't like you if they don't know you, not her, didn't give a damn, big smiles, she is lovely :)

My goal for this week was to maintain, will know on Thursday, actually didn't do too badly, so hopefully will be ok.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Have finally had lunch!  We had blood tests booked for 1.30 but when we got to the hospital it turns out we should have fasted for 12 hours but our forms said we didn't need to so have now rebooked for Thursday morning at 9.30!  Certainly wouldn't have accepted a 1.30 appointment if we'd known it as a fasting test!

Dinner will definitely be later than usual as don't think either of us will be ready for it about 6-6.30pm!

Glad you got to see everybody GTQ, including the new arrival.

Good luck with WI on Thursday.

You're right bubbs, it's a right palaver with the blood tests but apparently it's quite common for the surgeries to forget to tell you to fast!

Good to see you've got a good few Free foods there today bubbs.  Any more comments from your consultant yet?

Thought i better try Denise, no not since before when she said don't forget free food, as i didn't realise she is on Holiday so i don't want to keep bothering her, think she has only gone Mon-Fri, so i will take with me Sat, i am going later group Sat as want to see another lady that goes there.

In fact she is a consultant and has her own groups but has been through a very bad time and gained a lot of weight , bless her

    Morning all,

Better day with the food yesterday but I think that’s cos I had lunch so late I wasn’t as hungry last night, we also had power cuts on and off all evening which helped!

Steps have been better this week

Dog released from lead walks last night, well, I let him have a blast round the park. He was running like something possessed. Lol. Back on the lead to get the steps in and hopefully by the weekend I will let him off again as usual.

    B – granola ss milk

L – sweet onion crunchy rye Ryvita with tuna mayo salady bits

D – chicken breast (if I get out of freezer) or LF sausages, mash, gravy, green beans and chantenay carrots to finish them off
