Denise, i used 1 hexa cheese spread, a couple of good dollops ff greek yog, tbsp sweetener and some orange essence as i made choc orange ones.

I used 5 skinny crunch, so hexb and 1 1/2 syns as i made 2, i popped them in microwave broken up for 15 secs just to soften them, then i pressed them in the tin, put the topping on, crumbled a mini flake between the 2, 2 syns each and then finished with satsuma slices.

I will post a pic when we have them so 3 1/2 syns each

Thanks bubbs.  Have copied into my documents folder on the laptop.

maman I'm with you about Oxo; I use them far less than stockpots although probably more MSE!  I use them mainly when I'm making soups.  I add both to some dishes.  I always add beef Oxo plus some Marmite when I make mixed bean goulash for a meaty flavour to a veggie dish.  Helps to keep DH happy!

I'm desperate to know what the consultant suggests @bubbs. Not only does your food always look good enough for a SW magazine but you have it worked out for all the syns. 😇

I know exactly what you mean about the stock @joedenise. Although I often make a veggie chilli, I always add beef stock for taste as we're not vegetarian.

I love the 'not having picky tea' comment! Not sure if the consultant realises the massive shift that means. But we do! 😇👏

That's a difficult one @bubbs. Because of you avoiding carbs for your diabetes you don't have the free foods in your meals. What about trying the anomalies in SW that are free like peas, sweetcorn and cherries and baked beans!! 😁

Morning all, DH is going to golf early this morning (leaving about 6am) and he disturbed me when he got up because he couldn't sleep!  Tried to get back to sleep but just couldn't so ended up getting up about half hour ago - think that will probably mean an early night tonight to catch up!

I agree with maman bubbs - try using some of the 'dodgy' Free foods, although I know you won't use the sweetcorn 'cos "it's the food of the devil!", LOL!  But peas, grapes, cherries and baked beans would all be good ones.  Might be worth going through the lists in the books to see what other Free foods you like that you could include.

I've already had to rejig my menu plan since coming back from holiday as when I did it I didn't know my sister was coming today and after doing so realised that I have actually got an SP day today!  Just hope I don't feel hungry at the end of it like I have done in the past.

    Today's SP plan:

    B - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
L - low fat burger, onions, lettuce, tomato, wholemeal roll - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - beef stew; mashed celeriac - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - wholemeal roll
Syns - burger 0.5; glass of wine 6? (may have a glass at lunchtime with my sister)

    Have a good day everyone.
