Maman, i know what youmean, this is why i am having "proper" food, DH said i don't want much, but then he will sit here eating chocolates all night 🤣
I have a bit of a dicky tummy and tbh i think it's too much chocolate 😱
Last night i had gammon and pickles, tomato, cucumber etc and chips and thoroughly enjoyed it.Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

Change of plan tonight! Went to check the SC and I had forgotten to plug it in!!!! So it was off to the kebab shop but I was good and just had chicken shish and salad and no pitta. Really enjoyed it but suspect there were a few syns in it as the chicken was marinaded more than usual but still less than the short rib I suspect!
Never mind it'll be short rib stew, mash and green veg tomorrow night instead.
Think I'm a bit lighter than I was when we got back from France but still definitely several pounds over target! Will weigh on Wednesday morning and see where I am. I'd quite like to get to WI to get the new books but not sure that is really feasible as it's only just over 2 weeks away! Will be bang on plan from now on, including sticking to syns properly and hope for the best. If it doesn't work out then it doesn't!

I'm glad it's not just me losing the plot @joedenise! 😁
I had a scary moment on Christmas Eve. Just before lunchtime I realised I hadn't taken the turkey out of the freezer! I'd thought about it the night before but then quickly forgotten. A quick Google told me that lots of Americans seemed to do the same for Thanksgiving. Some say you can cook from frozen but didn't fancy that. I opted for submerging in cold water every 30 minutes and it worked fine. 😁
I was reading earlier that lots of people had problems with turkey from everywhere including M&S which were 'off' when they defrosted them. So could have been much worse. 🤔2 -
We had an M & S chicken, and gammon as only 3 of us and the chicken was beautiful , my sister said how nice it was.
I got good bargain today, DH ordered something from Argos and was ready to collect this afternoon , so i said we will go and get it now, had an order from S/drug to pick up and George at Asda so did them all. I said going to have a quick look in Asda (he stayed in the car) got a whole chicken , pkt prawns, 3 pks chicken breast all 50p each 😁😁😁😁 Sliced pineapplex 3 pks 10p eachSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:1 -
maman said:Wow! @bubbs. You've got such a good nose for a bargain. 👏👏👏
I think that's another good feature of the thread. SW really doesn't have to be expensive. The thread is a good mix of SW and mse. 😁
Going company shop Friday 🤣 no room in freezer though , hope they have yoghurt, f & v
I always say it's as expensive as you make it, a mars bar is about 80p, this week you could get, bag brussels, carrots, parsnips , potatoes for same price, that would do a few meals, mars bar 2 mouth fulls and goneSealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:1 -
@Abbafan1972.
If it is any consolation my mum said some pretty hurtful things about my weight on boxing day.
This did not stop her bringing a lot of food treats to the house.

So sorry to hear that @beanielou. ☹️
People can be so hurtful sometimes. But we don't think that of you. You're hugely supportive of us and we're here for you whenever you're ready to kick start your weightloss. We know you can do it.
Forgot to reply to @Abbafan1972. I remember you well from previous threads. You can do it too. Not too much has changed from the previous plans (except the super bonus of an extra HEA 😁).
Lots of people will be 'going on a diet' in the new year and depriving themselves but SW will let you eat loads (of the right, healthy food) and still lose weight.
I was going to say 'you pays your money and takes your choice' but the thread is free and because you know the plan @Abbafan1972 and @beanielou, you have a head start! 😊0 -
That's awful @beanielou; agree with @maman people can be very hurtful sometimes. They often speak without thinking - try not to take it to heart. The problem is often that these are the very people who make things worse by giving unhealthy treats as in the case of yours and @Abbafan1972's mums.
Are you planning on getting back on plan in the New Year @beanielou? We can give you all the support you want in the same way that you always support everyone on here!
Today's plan:
B - eggs on toast - HEB; P
L - garlic mushrooms, mini roast potatoes - P; S; F
D - short rib beef stew; mash & green veg - P; S; F; 6
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - short rib 4.5; horseradish 0.5; stout 1
Have a good day everyone.
