@beanielou - think we said something like Fresh Start with Slimming World to tie up with the titles of the new books which are available until mid January.

Morning all.  Another horrible wet and miserable day but DH has still gone to play golf!  He's probably only going to play 9 holes rather than 18 because of the weather which means he should be home in time for lunch rather than having to have something reheated or something completely different to me (which would probably involve more bread as he had toast this morning before he left!).

I jumped on the scales this morning and despite the indulgences of Christmas I have managed to lose 3lb since I got back from France just over a week ago!  Just another 3.5lb to go to get back into target!

    Today's plan:

    B - cheese omelette - HEA2; P
L - garlic mushrooms; mini roasties - S; F; (using the recipe from the website which doesn't contain cheese!)
    D - lamb hotpot; cabbage - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
HEB - ?  might have a couple of crackers this evening

Syns - cheese on the crackers 3? if I have them

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all

    Well done Denise 👏👏👏

Wet here too, we are going to my sisters lunch time but will be back early evening i think as my other sister is going as well and she don't like getting home late 1) the dogs 2) going into a empty dark house although i think she does now have her lights on an app on the phone so that makes it better.

So no idea on food  😏

Hope everyone has a good day

Well done on reining back @joedenise. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You might well get back to target in time for a new book. 🤔

I'm still not properly back on plan. Yesterday we decided to have turkey sandwiches at lunchtime, to finish it off, so that added bread and crisp syns to the other treats I'm still enjoying. Realistically it's going to be next Monday before I get back to normal.

I'm not sure about today's dinner yet. I'm planning to go and do some food shopping this afternoon to see us through 9 days but I need to write my meal plan first. So, although I could always have something like chilli from the freezer I might buy something else that takes my fancy. I'll post again later when I'm more organised.

Things may change later!  My DSis has offered DH and I a couple of tickets for Enchanted Eltham Palace for this evening but need to ask DH if he wants to go as I don't like driving at night (don't really like driving full stop!).  We can stay over at her place but it means we'll need to have something like the crackers and cheese before we go as we need to get to her house about 5-5-5.30 pm as the tickets are booked for 6.30 and I'm not sure how early we need to get there - she lives about 15-20 minute drive away.

I'm really pleased to have lost as much as I have and really hoping I can lose the rest over the next couple weeks - it's doable as long as I stick to plan!  Really need to up my Speed foods as not really having enough.  Do wish SP worked for me but the couple of times I've done it I've still only lost half lb so seems absolutely pointless I can lose that and will have the carbs to fill me up!

Sorry to hear that your sis needs to keep testing as she's been in contact with a positive case @bubbs.  Hope she stays negative.

Damn everywhere you look someone is testing positive 😤
Hubby collected his brother who had been staying with his elder brother & family and took him home (in a special needs home). The nephew who drove him to where hubby picked up has tested positive. No masks worn! At least hubby insisted on one! The only good thing is hubby has pcr every dialysis so 🤞🏻. Bruv in law had to isolate anyway but will now be tested too.
I still lateral flow for work 😵‍💫

    HAPPY NEW YEAR ALL 🙄

🤞we're Covid free here but hope others don't suffer too much. 😊

I do hope you get to Eltham Palace @joedenise. I've always wanted to visit and to see it on a special occasion must be great. Quite mild here so OK if you're outside. 😊

Not a bad meal for SW @bubbs. Roast is usually a good bet. 😋

I asked DH what he felt like for dinner (he usually eats what he's given 🤣) and he said something plain. So we're having sausage, beans and chips. 😁 I'll throw in some mushrooms and onions to up the Speed a bit.

I bought 2 bags of Maris Pipers in Sainsburys for 29p. They'll keep and veg wars will end soon. And I treated myself to a PoN cookbook in Aldi for £2.99. I'll enjoy browsing through that.

DH came shopping with me and tried to persuade me to buy more chocolate marzipan but I refused! It's a start. 😇
