Afternoon all, bit later than usual as been to do a big shop as not much meat in the freezers.  Have stocked up on loads of chicken, some joints plus loads of tinned stuff so hopefully won't need too much shopping other than fresh stuff.

Some great NSVs there @Mrs_Ryan.  Sorry to hear you've had Norovirus though, nasty disease but at least you're over it now.

@Suffolksue - I think everyone puts of weight at Christmas but it'll come back off if you stick to plan.

I'm completely back on plan and ended yesterday on 15 syns; didn't have the HEB in the evening as just didn't need it.

    Today's plan:

    B - Welsh rarebit - HEA2; P; F
    L - brunch hash topped with eggs - P; S; F
    D - savoury mince, mash, cabbage, green beans & peas - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
HEB - ? Crackers if needed
Syns - butter and or cheese if I have the crackers.  May open a bottle of wine later but we'll see.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

We've been out for breakfast/brunch today with DGD2 as it's her birthday. Then spent a bit of time in the shops. I had the full English but substituted sausages for more beans. There was some toast and probably some oil but otherwise SW friendly. Another could have been worse meal.🤔 I had Weetabix earlier in the morning.

Tonight we're having a M&S Lamb Rogan Josh, just one portion shared between us. I'll do some strips of roasted peppers and mushrooms to stretch it out a bit and add extra Speed. It's 3 syns shared so not bad. I fancied something tasty and quick so bought the curry when I was out.

When I put jeans on this morning they fitted OK around the thighs but my stomach feels huge. I think you did well to gain so little @Suffolksue.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 You'll soon shift that by getting back on plan. Thanks for the update on the new books. So nothing new on the plan then, just revamped publications. 🤔

Wow that sounds awful @bubbs.  I always wonder why bridges take so long to rebuild!  They're building a new bridge near me to cut down the traffic around the roundabout near the motorway but it's not going to be finished until winter 2024!  They've been clearing the land both sides of it for nearly a year already - nothing seems to happen very quickly!
