Good luck @bubbs for WI tomorrow morning, that's a really early WI!  Chocolate was a problem for me last night too but at least I'm not weighing for a while yet!  Enjoy the chocolate if you fancy it tomorrow after WI.

Merry Christmas to you too @ruby_eskimo.

Well it's usually 8 Sat morning anyway so not much earlier and i take DH work at 6.30 so i'm out anyway, might nip in Morrisons and see if there is any bargains 🤣🤣🤣
I've managed to get a Morrisons Magic Bag to pick up tomorrow - hopefully that will be £3.09 well spent!  The last one I got was really good with loads of fruit and veg so hopefully this one will be as good.

Just had an email to say that Morries have cancelled my Magic Bag so going to have to pick up some veg in addition to the stuff I've already got on my list.  I've got virtually no frozen veg left in the freezer.  Only veg I've got is half a cabbage, a few carrots & a few parsnips.

    Back later with menu plan.

Morning, well done @MrsRyan!  I've already been out and got a few last minute fresh bits.  Thought I was mad heading out at 6am but so glad I did as the carpark was full by the time I left - and I was in and out in ten minutes!

Finish up work this afternoon, still have to tidy round then start the food prep.  Breakfast might be a bacon roll (as DS will make it ) lunch will be last of the lentil soup and dinner is beef casserole with loads of veg.

Just in case I don't get on again today, have a lovely Christmas everyone!  I also want to thank you for your support and brilliant hints and tips and the kicks up the backside when needed    Stay warm and stay safe all x

Right been shopping to get a few bits including DH's beer which was on Clubcard price so reduced by £1 a bottle.  Don't like the eggs in Mr Ts so popped to Morries to pick up eggs and more bread which has gone into the freezer to save having to go back next week.  Still forgot to get milk so will probably have to nip to the local little shop and pay a fortune for a couple of pints to tide us over until we can get to Lidl for our usual UHT milk.

Ended yesterday on 10 syns so almost pulled back what I went over by on Wednesday (just need to pull back 0.5 syn so trying to keep it lowish again today so I've got some to spare for tomorrow!).

    Today's plan:

    B - porridge; frozen mixed fruit and cherries - HEB; S; F
L - Ham, bubble & squeak, beans - P; S; F (ham is HM which I found in the freezer!)
D - Thai red prawn curry, rice - P; S; F (using one of the Simply Cook spice packs I got on their special offer a while back)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
Syns - none planned but may syn a couple of crackers to have with some cheese this evening

    Have a good day everyone.

Will wish you all a very Merry Christmas in case I don't get back on in the morning (or you don't!).

Well done on STS @bubbs.  Enjoy tonight's Chinese.  What's it to be tonight?

Update to my menu plan:  just put the spice pastes through the syn estimator and it's coming up as 4 syns per portion so that means I'll be having those this evening plus maybe some crackers later so still within syns.

    Enjoy!

The cake looks amazing.  You've got so much patience when presenting your food.

Thanks, only takes about 5 mins to decorate. Slap some melted apricot jam on, put the nuts and cherries in slap some more jam over the top :D
